Longshot had observed the woman's tricks since he had arrived. She moved gracefully, making a move to take out every challenger. Admittedly, a few too many had shown up to relieve Black Jacket when they could be aiding the injured. She shot several balls of fire to the ground which would immediately turn into some sort of spike given her impalement fetish. As she did this, she came down on him, waving her blades, ready to cleave him in two. He immediately dove out of the way then fired a cable up to a light post as the spikes erupted from the earth.

The archer perched on the light post and stared down at the murderer. "Name's Longshot." he replied to her, "And tonight, you dine on napalm!" He put an arrow to the string and quickly attached an explosive cartridge. He let slip the arrow and jumped from the light post in the opposite direction, landing on a car and continuing through the crowded streets. "Decoy, Wildcat, what's your situation?" he inquired into his communicator. From the corner of his eye, he spotted a man about to take a crowbar to another over a can of string beans. He quickly jumped against the door of one car, bouncing off another and flung himself towards the thug, smashing his foot into the back of his head. "Play nice!" he shouted and continued onward. He had never handled a city in this condition before. They were extremely shorthanded and most of the people who had shown up were distracted with textbook villains. Firefighters were beaten senseless by angry mobs, ordinary people set aside their sense of right and wrong simply because they'd been shaken up. People wonder why the world needs heroes. It's because society is incapable of being self reliant. They need a man in a cape to whisk all their problems away for them and when they don't get him, they go mad like spoiled children instead of handling it themselves. Longshot was no hero, but he did what he could without thanks or recognition. The redhead would be taken care of. Hopefully, the multiplying kid had the mall under control. All that was left was Decoy and Wildcat, wherever they were.

Before Spur could answer the bug-man's suspicious questions, the red-head began burning helpless individuals to death on the ground below. The hero next to Spur began firing a hand gun at the witch, and the bullets ripped through her wings. Suddenly, an arrow whizzed by into the demon shoulder, just to be pulled out by the women herself. Spur looked to see Longshot, the man on the radio and TV, holding a bow and arrow next to a fire truck.  " Names Azreal, and tonight you dine in hell! " The red-head screamed. Azreal sent flames towards the fire-truck, and then turned back towards the skies to send a similar attack towards Spur. Flames flew at Spur and the man next to him, and turned to spikes. Spur then used his Vampire shape shifting to transform into a bat, easily avoiding the flaming stakes. He then transformed back to human form, and flew at Azreal full speed. Claws formed on Spurs hand, and were used to slice into the demons back. The attack would slow the girl down, but truly, it seemed nothing would stop the Azreal.

The woman raised her shield just in time to block the truck. The shield broke under the force exploding in an inferno on the windshield. Ball was inclined to compare it to the war of 1812, when the British burned down the White house. The blast had not broken the glass but the heat had distorted the glass by liquefying it. Amazingly the gooey windshield stayed in place. Unfortunately Ball had to press on the breaks. There was no point in driving blind.

He unbuckled his seat belt to get out of the car and face the villain down. He pushed at the door. It didn't budge. He shook it around trying to get it to open. It clicked into his mind that the door may have been welded shut by the fire. He frantically looked for another way out, son finding the window. He moved his hulking body so that his foot had room to move, which was no easy task. His foot shot up like a grasshoppers going through the glass, not with a crash! but with a smulch!. The searing hot glass poured onto his leg. Marco screeched in pain in his mind. As he clambered out the the red headed woman threw a what looked like a fiery spike under the engine of the truck. "oh bloody hell" he murmured to himself as the spike began to glow even brighter. Then he was engulfed by the massive inferno of the spike and truck exploding .His coat searing off from the insane heat and him flying half way out of the windshield as the truck flipped over.

Jenna pressed her back against the wall of the building. She decided not to wait for the boy scout hero and headed towards the capitol on her own, the building was around the corner of the building which she leaned against. “Well only idiots die first,” she whispered as she turned the corner and aimed her gun then she saw it. Carnage everywhere several of the trucks were scattered about tipped on their sides and were even on top of the building itself, almost as if they were tossed like softballs. Dead soldiers filled the ground blood spilt from their lifeless bodies, Jenna walked towards one of the corpse to investigate the cause of death. It was different looked like some were killed by some sort of intense heat, others appeared to be killed by physical assault. She lifted her communicator from her pouch, “calling out to anyone available I may need backup at the capitol building.” Jenna put it away and began to walk over to the entrance of the building.

Nothing but death inside also one of the trucks was even tossed through a wall near the entrance. Jenna stepped cautiously inside, she soon heard footsteps approaching her swiftly she leapt up and grasped on the ceiling. Beneath her two armored figures walked towards the same way she had entered, “the boss has everything handled we have our orders secure the entrance.” As soon as the armored figures left Jenna gracefully fell to the ground and walked in the direction that the two came from, she kept her gun handy as she moved from corridor to corridor. Soon faint muttering filled the halls Jenna ran towards the muttering until it stopped, she had followed it to the room of the governor, the door was slightly opened and Jenna saw tow figures one standing tall peering out the window in a black coat the other on the ground.

Kicking the doors opened she trained her gun at the figure in the black coat. “Don’t move,” she instructed at the figure, all they did was stand there. Her hands were fighting to tremble at this sense of mystery and danger that was possibly facing her. Suddenly the figure turned around before rushing at her with speeds that even her enhanced features couldn’t track, in the no more than a second she felt a hand grab her right wrist. Soon it was pulled into the air before she dropped the gun, then she felt her whole body being tossed in the air and landed on the floor. Jenna swiftly pulled out her knife and she rushed at him swinging the knife at his body, her attempts failed as once again he grabbed her wrist this time though with her free hand she punched him in the face. It felt like she had punched a brick wall, but her right arm was twisted behind her back and Jenna fell to her knees her attacker no doubt held her gun and may execute her.

After a minute of silence Jenna turned her head around to see what he was doing. “Hmm now is this any way to treat me after all this time,” Jenna realized who it was her brother John or as the name he was born with 2923.

As Calder's bullets flew towards the demoness, a horde of heroes arrived to help put her down. "Boss man Longshot is here too eh?" Calder muttered as Longshot engaged Azrael. Longshot's speed and agility were on a level that even enhanced humans like Calder couldn't fully contend with, so he wasn't worried about his team leader, but when Azrael began spewing out more fire all Calder wanted do do was run.

The person standing nearby transformed into a bat, which greatly startled Calder, and attacked to the demoness as well. At this time Calder began running towards the nearest building as the spikes erupted from the ground. As they began coming out of the ground Calder began doing his best to dodge them, but still got nicked in the face a couple times and got a gash in his thigh. He yelled as he pushed his body towards its limits and dived through the window of the building. He layed on the ground for a minute, pulling out his inhaler and using it to regulate his breathing, but then an explosion rocked the building.

He slowly pushed himself up as he held his cut thigh and spotted the burning remains of the truck from before. "Bloody hell..." he muttered as he exited the building to look for any injured people near the explosion. "Is anyone here?!" he yelled as he surveyed the scene, and after a minute he found Marco on the ground near the fire. "Let's go you bastard!" Calder yelled as he patted out the parts of his clothing on fire, then tried to lift his fellow hero. The guy was too heavy though, and Calder struggled just to try and stand up. "I need you to let me out here!" Calder grunted, hoping that Marco would recover in time to help him.

Azrael laughed at the similar joke Longshot had made. His napalm didn’t do much do to fire against a demon however it did distract her enough to avoid noticing the bat transformation from the new comer. Azrael laughed as the driver of the truck escaped. He was bathed in flame for a brief moment; good should keep him down for a few she thought. She glanced around to see the archer had left coward was the word that came to mind.

Then she felt a sharp pain run down her spine. The feeling was delightful she felt her blood trickle down her bag. Despite the pleasantries she was pissed. She wasn’t going to make another move on the other two till she punished this arrogant opponent. “You have me outnumbered and that’s how you’re going to play?” She whipped around aiming to catch the man in black with a swipe with enough force to snap the neck of a casual human. With her right hand she brought it about to where his stomach was and fired a burst of hellfire. She couldn’t be sure of his reflexes or how fast he was but hopefully at this range he was destined to take a blow no matter the speed.

“Calling out to anyone available I may need backup at the capitol building.”    Longshot received the call. He'd question the girl on how she got on this line later. He rushed through the streets, dispersing riots whenever possible. Too many people were occupied with the woman back there. Whatever was going on at the capitol, it was big. By now, news vans had pulled in and started getting footage of the disaster so that people in their cozy homes could sit and watch their fellow man suffer. He raced to the capitol with blinding speed, blowing through the smoke and ash. He came to the capitol which was locked down completely. The archer shot a cable up to the next floor and swung up onto the balcony. He climbed silently, not alerting the gunman with his back turned, snuck up behind him and wrapped his arm around his neck, delivering a direct strike to his peripheral nerve. He set his unconscious body down on the floor and ran inside.

Longshot dropped down the elevator shaft and came out, seeing a woman on her knees and a man with a gun pointed to the back of her head. He had a smug look on his face. Longshot didn't know the girl. But he knew the man. Reaper. He had faced him in Brazil when the Syndicate took control of the world. Eclipse was the one who stopped the machines worldwide, but Longshot shut the machine in Brazil down before it released a deadly strain of the pheromone and killed millions. He hesitated from drawing an arrow and stared the man down. "What are you doing here, Reaper?" he asked.

Ball out of the windshield just before the firetruck hit the ground, saving Marco from getting crushed. He hit the pavement hard. His body gave off a loud thwack! when it connected. He lay on the ground not realizing the severity of his condition. His left shoulder was covered in blood and shrapnel that had come off of the truck during the explosion. There was also more shrapnel all around his body, some reaching to the bone. The flames were still on him burning and disintegrating part of his jacket. Worse the flames and heat of the blast had given him third degree burns on his back and legs. Marco if he were in control of his body would probably have been unconscious during this painful ordeal but Ball willed him to stay awake for every agonizing minute of it. The only thing that had hurt him more than this was that lady with the poison coated dagger that had introduced him to the "big leagues" as she called it.

A man who looked dressed to be a hero came into Balls sight. The man looked over the area until he spotted him. When he came to his side the man was less than polite yelling "lets go you bastard!" He did help though, by padding out the fire on his jacket. He then tried to lift Balls body, but to no avail. Ball almost laughed. He calmly pondered why he couldn't move. The answer came from the pain of Marco which was focused on his back. He got in a sitting position and felt around. He found the cause in the middle of his back. A long piece of sharp metal protruded from it. It must be stuck in your spine to paralyze your body from the waist down eh Marco he swiftly pulled the dagger shaped shard out of his back. Then to correct the damage it had done , he stuck his fingers in the wound and pushed the gap it had caused back together.  He began to get feeling in his legs again.

He got up on his feet, ready to take more damage. Before the new hero could say anything, he raised hand with the index finger up "one second". He walked up to the corpse of the firetruck. Much of it was torn but it was still  holding together. It was on its back undrivable now but he wasn't planning on driving it. Ball easily flipped the truck back on all fours, the fact two of it's wheels had been blown off didn't make a difference either. He crept under the truck, his nostrils filled with the smell of burning flesh as fires from the truck spread onto him again. He positioned himself in the middle of the truck, pressing against it with both hands he slowly brang it up. The metal moaned when he had enough room to get on his knees, the truck now 3 feet off the ground. He slowly got up on his legs, trying to keep it in perfect balance so it wouldn't tip over and crush him. It weighed about as much as the slab of the building he'd been crushed under, but this hadn't slammed into him. He was standing up with the firetruck above him. He looked for the redheaded women who had destroyed it. She wasn't to far away actually, he could make it. He swayed back, risking his balance, then moved forward then stopped abruptly, pushing the firetruck off his shoulders and towards the villain.

While Spur was flying away from his sneak attack on Azreal, a hand grabbed his foot a pulled him closer. He turned around to see the demon with a hand full of flames, ready to strike him right in his stomach. Without much thinking, Spur again transformed into a bat, escaping her grip, but did not manage to escape her flames. In bat form, Spurs sweat shirt becomes his outermost skin. The hellfire burned the upper right parts of his body, including parts of his neck in first degree burns, his right wing in second degree burns, and parts of his right chest in both degrees. Spur returned to human form, and did a back flip in the air, landing in a kneel. The burns werent as bad in human form, but still stung with a tremendous amount of pain.  He got up, and took off his burnt sweat shirt. After again revealing his claws, Spur's eyes turned from hazel, to a piercing color of red. This wench is to strong for my hypnosis.... he thought. but I still have a few tricks up my sleeve.  Spur ran at Azreal faster than a cheetah, his hands sticking out right in front of her. When he was a nano second away, he phased right through her. Spur was created with the most powerful vampire abilities, including phasing and shape shifting into animals such as bats, wolves, and rats.  After going through her, Spur turned and transformed into a bat once more, flying through her legs and scratching the back of the demons thighs. He returned to human form, and somersaulted, turned around, and prepared for hell.

Azrael smiled as she hit her opponent, scorching flesh. She watched him morph back to a human form and saw her handiwork. The smell of burning skin was always satisfying. Her opponent flew threw her phasing to get behind her. Vampire she realized or something similar. She grinned this should be a fun battle she thought. The opponent turned into a bat again and flew under Azrael's leg’s clawing as he went by. Blair simply smiled the small claws were nothing to panic over. However she heard something below her the standard sound of someone lifting something big. She glanced over to see a man in what looked like either a bag or executioners mask over his head and an ugly green jacket lifting the fire truck. “Oh hell” she said with a laugh. The man tossed the vehicle at her she flew upwards hoping to get clear. She did for the majority but still took a clipping in her leg. Her ankle twisting counters clockwise. She gave it a quick turn to render it usable at the least. She responded in kind by hurling a blast of hell fire at the vampire like opponent. She then dived down towards the oddly dressed man with her blades planning to cleave his head off and then gorging on the gore afterwards.

Before the demoness could make her move on Spur, she quickly turned around, then flew in the air. Thats right, leave you cowered. Antonio soon realized that the women wasn't fleeing the battle, she was trying to dodge a Fire Truck headed straight for his direction. Spur leaped away from the truck, and barely missing it. The fire truck landed head first into the ground, causing a huge crack in the road, and then started to lean towards Spurs direction. After using a split second to catch his breath, the Vampire started running from the huge fire engine, when it completely crashed down on him. Spur phased in the vehicle, and wiped the sweat off his brow. Close one...It was starting to get hard to breath, so Spur flew straight upwards out of the truck to try to dodge any sneak attacks by the red-head. Right as he escaped the fire-truck, he was hit with a burst of hellfire. The blast sent him straight through a building's window, and into an isle full of cereal . The force was to strong and quick for Spur to phase through, and made him half unconscious. While sitting on the ground of what looked like a grocery store or a pharmacy, Spur thought about Azreal. It seems as if my Radar Sense doesn't work on other supernatural creatures. As he tried to recover from his battle, Spur noticed two men outside the store, maybe in their thirty's, messing with a girl no older than 19. After a couple seconds, Spur phased his head through the wall in which the men leaned on, and whispered into one of the gentleman's ears, " Drop the girl, or I drop you off a two story building". Spur went back into the wall, as the man panicked.
" Did you hear that," he man said as he looked around. "I told you Boston was spooked! I'm getting' out a' here!"
" Comm on Angelo, that was probably nothin'. " The other person said. As they started to argue, Spur phased through the wall and pulled the girl into the store.
" there's a back entrance, you can escape that way" Claimed Spur. Without hesitating, the girl ran to the back of the store, and through the door.

Irony is what could be used to describe the current situation. Reaper had attacked Boston on his own with his private army, found his sister in a building about to collapse and now held her at gunpoint. She was subdued by him easily minimum injuries to her, “hmm now is this any way to treat me after all this time.” 2922 turned her head around and saw him she still knew it was her brother, “hello sis long time no see huh.”

“John what happened to you,” she asked him. He didn’t answer her instead he looked of to the side as he still held her pinned to the ground. His yellow eyes were blocked out by his pitch black sunglasses over them, all he did was stare off in one direction focusing on it. Almost as if he could see through the wall of the building. Then a sinister smile appeared on his face as he then turned to face his sister his left hand still clenched her gun. Reaper continued to stare blankly at his sister until he moved his head and looked straight ahead of himself, “5,4,3,2,1,” he said silently to himself.

Longshot had dropped down an elevator shaft and was staring him down. “What are you doing here, Reaper,” he had asked him. Reaper stood there still held his sister’s arm pinned behind her, as he too stared him down.

“Nobody can go have a vacation anymore,”

he remarked as he let his sister’s arm loose. He then tossed her gun to the off to the side, “I say I owe you a fight.” Longshot hadn’t even drawn an arrow yet when Reaper dashed at him his faint image followed his path as he zig zagged back and forth to try and distract the hero until he appeared in front of him, he sent his fist hurling towards Longshot’s gut.

“Nobody can go have a vacation anymore,” said Reaper. "Tell me about it."  Longshot sighed. "I say, I owe you a fight."  Reaper remarked. Their last confrontation in Brazil was something Longshot wouldn't forget. Reaper was fast, too fast for Longshot. He managed to dodge a straight shot and lap circles around him. He cracked a few bones and all around beat Longshot. Lesson learned. He wouldn't let it happen again. Reaper raced at impeccable speed, zig zagging in every direction. Longshot drew an arrow. He trained his eye on the fast moving target. He wouldn't lose this time. He wouldn't let Reaper get the drop on him.

Apparently he wasn't ready. Reaper delivered a direct blow, his fist pounding into the archer's stomach. The pads in his jacket didn't hold an ounce of the force from his punch. In the brief moment Reaper was stopped by the exchange of force., Longshot wrapped his arms around him, holding him with all his strength. He used the force of the punch and fell backward, pulling Reaper with him. He rolled on his back and tried to hurl his opponent into the wall.

The red head turned turned just in time to see Ball throw the truck at her. She pushed off the ground into the sky. He chuckled as he realized the woman had wings, how silly of him to not notice. Fortunately for her she was quick enough to escape getting crushed, but not not fast enough to totally escape it. His permanent smile seemingly grew bigger as he heard the crack from the breaking of bones. This would be his second modern fight with a superhuman. Both had similarities, they were both women, both beautiful and both completely insane with extremely hazardous powers.

To his surprise the woman cracked her leg back into place. It didn't look good as new but it would work to some extent. With great speed, the harpy dived towards him, blades in hand. Ball dodged and at the same time tried to wrap his chain around her swords. The price for his multitasking was a long cut on his shoulder when she slashed at his head, but he had succeeded in wrapping around her two sword. Her main advantage on him was her flight, so at the same time of him trying to yank the swords from her grasp, he aimed a high kick to the joint in her wings hoping to break it.

Azrael smiled as her opponent took a cut in his shoulder just to get hold of her blades. This was hardly problematic to her. However it held an advantage so she let the chains stay wrapped.  She moved her wings inwards to avoid the initial kick her foe had made. It was obvious now he wasn’t looking forward to a challenger who could fly so that’s exactly what she did. She kicked and bit she likely didn’t score a single solid blow but that wasn’t the goal just a distraction. She rose higher and higher till at least a good twenty feet in the air. That’s where she made her main move.

She brought her feet up to her chest buckling inwards. Charging her feat with hellfire she dissipated her blades so that there was nothing to grab onto as she attempted to kick off the man’s chest. Unless he pulled a lucky stunt with that chain he would have the luxury of a sudden drop and a quick stop. Her move didn’t end there however as she then re-forged her blades and aimed downwards hoping to impale an already broken man.

He could sense that he had a thick coat on but he might as well have been wearing paper. Reaper decided to pause for a minute and Longshot grabbed him in an attempt to throw him into a wall. With the attempt Reaper didn’t even move he had his sinister smirk cross his face as he grabbed the hero’s jacket and lifted him of the ground. “Did you really think that would have worked, ha how pathetic,” he said as he held him in the air easily. “I have ascended beyond you and any other humans you are just like insects to me now.”

Reaper held Longshot in in the air and watched as he struggled to break his grip. Then like he was tossing a mere doll he threw Longshot across the room, before without even moving Reaper vanished in thin air. Much faster then if he would have ran he appeared behind Longshot, when he grabbed his left leg and tossed him once again. Reaper built up energy in his hand and an aura appeared as he got ready to fire an energy blast at him, “like shooting fish in a barrel.”

Jenna’s arm was sore what happened to her brother he was nothing like he once was. A hero who obviously knew him from past experience appeared and tried to take him on and he was doing about as well as she did. Longshot she read about him in a bio also recognized him from that whole California affair who stood up to some self proclaimed super assassin , was being tossed around like he was nothing. Jenna pushed herself of the ground she then saw him try and toss her brother which worked about as well as her attempts, alone they couldn’t hope to even hurt him. Jenna limped over to where her brother tossed her handgun, after she picked it up she removed a small pill from her pouch and tossed it in her mouth.

The pain was gone only for about an hour though. She needed to act quickly her brother just tossed the hero a second time and was no doubt going to shoot him with an energy blast. Swiftly she sprinted towards him and with all her weight she rammed into him with her shoulder. He wasn’t knocked down but he missed Longshot barely, but her problems began as he picked her up by her harness. “Stay out of this,” he shouted at her as she was tossed aside.

Jenna once stood up from that and moved next to Longshot. “I can’t let you kill him,” she said as she raised her gun at him. Her brother looked down for a minute and Jenna helped Longshot to his feet, “the only chance we have at hitting him is if we work together.” But she was cutoff when her brother teleported again this time behind the two, he grabbed both of their heads and pushed them towards the ground.

Reaper was faster then he had remembered, and Longshot didn't think it was possible, but he had actually become more self-righteous.  With impeccable speed and strength, he hurled the archer across the room, only to catch him and throw him again.  “Like shooting fish in a barrel.” he said snidely. "See, I never got that phrase." said Longshot, hitting the ground and trying to make a smooth landing out of it, "Hitting one little fish that's swimming around in a barrel is surprisingly hard. You obviously can't see through the barrel." he saw the energy blast coming, that was new. He quickly ducked out of the way only to see that the woman had tackled him. "And for that matter, if you already had them in the barrel, why bother shooting them?"  He drew an arrow and was about to fire when he heard the crackling sound of wood giving way and looked up to see a portion of the ceiling caving in after the energy blast. He quickly ducked out of the way, sliding across the smooth tile floor. The woman who Reaper held at gunpoint now lay on the floor next to him, knocked down by the madman. She hopped to her feet and pulled out a gun. "I can't let you kill him." she said, standing beside Longshot. She looked down at the archer.  “The only chance we have at hitting him is if we work together.” she said. Longshot got up, crouching on his knees. He was about to reply, but a Reaper clutched a handful of her hair and grabbed him by his mask and slammed them both towards the ground. Longshot's face was crushed into the hard floor, his nose broke on impact. He slowly lifted his broken light bulb of a head. He peered through his eyepiece, which was cracked, half blacked out and sputtering on and off with a distorted red view of the world that felt like looking through an incomplete kaleidoscope. He turned to his opponent, who stood over him. "Hey, I forgot to give you something when we last met." he said, tossing a golden cylinder to him, "Catch." What Reaper didn't know was that it was a knockout gas cartridge that detonated on impact. With the split second Reaper was distracted, Longshot, still on his knees, delivered a harsh and precise kick to his right kneecap.

Balls kick missed its mark as the women moved her bat-like wings back. She kicked and bit like a child would. What was she trying to do? a minute a go she was a skilled sword fighter but now she was fighting dirty and poorly. It was Marco's turn to pick up on what Ball had missed >hey asshole look down< . Ball turned his head around to see that he'd been lifted of the ground and hadn't even noticed it. Clever girl he thought while enjoying the thrill of the battle. He couldn't yank at his chain to get the sword it was coiled around out of her grasp, gravity was in her favor.

She brought her feet up. They burst into the element the woman viciously commanded. In the blink of an eye the blades that ironically ensured his safety disappeared, just as the 'Bat girl' brought her inflamed feat to his chest with stunning force. It burnt through his shirt and gave him another third degree burn, Marco ,not even able to feel the pain amongst the other burns and breaks, did not scream in his mind this time. Ball wondered if she thought he could not act fast enough to save himself  because of his stature while Marco , seemingly in a delusional state of mind from the pain, wondered if she was single. Ball gave him a sharp pain in his mind resembling brain freeze. He turned around to meet the pavement with his feet. Fortunately Balls actual head ,from the ball and chain, had not turned around and saw the destructive damsel flying down towards them sword pointed straight out. It was a good tactic if your opponent was panicking and didn't have eyes in the back of their head, however Ball had both. He quickly moved out of the way of the woman as he touched the ground. The red head was now faced with two options. Continue and take a face full of concrete, or slow down and get hit by Ball's devastating weapon he was now swinging at her spine.

"Damn kid stole my smokes....." Decoy muttered as he walked around, letting his decoys do his dirty work. "Jeez, I do all the work while my teammates get all the glory!" Decoy muttered to himself, not knowing of the danger his allies faced. Suddenly Decoy spotted a familiar face among a fleeing crowd. He acted quickly, jumping into the crowd. He found his target and slammed his pistol into the man's face. Terror fell to the ground, his nose covered in blood. "That wasn't ver-" Decoy slammed the butt of his pistol into Terror's face once more. "You're not suppose to be here." Decoy said anger filling his voice. "You're suppose to be in prison." Terror grinned, his face covered in blood. "I can explain. You see, I have friends who don't like you Mr.Decoy. Friends like the Knives Man."  Decoy stared at Terror for a few minutes then he slammed his pistol under Terror's chin, finger on the trigger. "Talk. How do you know the Knives Man?"

Calder watched dumbfounded as the man he attempted to save simply stood up, threw an entire flaming truck at the she-bitch, then began engaging her in combat. "This guy is made of steel..." he muttered as he slowly stood up and began heading towards a nearby building. There was a huge hole in the front, so he was able to just walk through it and take cover behind the walls. At the pace the others were fighting Azrael he decided that he would only get in the way if he fought with them, so he pulled out his communicator to hail either Longshot or Decoy. Right when he turned it on he got Longshot's message about city hall, so he turned the communicator off and began stumbling in a direction he hoped would lead him to town hall.

He turned and gave one last glance over to the battle raging between Azrael and his allies before continuing onward. He could only hope that they could end the fight he started and put the demoness into the dirt. He continued to move through the ravaged city, seeing nothing but death and destruction as the hell on Earth continued to grow. "And what are people doing in these dangerous times?" Calder thought as he spotted a young man pull out a knife and threaten another man, "They turn into bloody animals!"

Calder pulled out his revolver and fired one of his few last shots into the air, causing both men to look at him before running off into opposite directions. "Yeah run home you animals." he muttered as he spit onto the ground. He continued onwards towards the capital, but was stopped by the sound of screaming. He moved as quickly as he could towards it, and soon he was standing in front of a burning apartment building. When he looked up he spotted a little boy trying to look out of the window. Calder cursed under his breath as he moved up to the front door and kicked it open, walking in and then beginning to sprint up the stairs.

The fire was searing at his skin, and the smoke was not only making it hard to see, but to breathe as well. He endured the heat and rushed up the stairs, making it to the floor where the boy was on the fifth floor. "Where are you?!" he called through the smoke, feeling his way to the wall and ducking low to avoid the smoke, "I'm here to save you!"

"Over here!" the boy called as he jumped up and down, next to him was a tall and thin older man, "Help us! My dad won't get up!"

Calder moved over to the two of them near the window and turned the man over. "Looks like he passed out from the smoke." Calder said as he looked the man over, "I'm going to get you both out of here now, so I need you to be brave and listen to me alright?"

The surprisingly brave boy nodded and waited for his orders. Calder lifted the man onto his shoulders and began leading them towards the stairwell, but when they arrived they watched their escape crumble from the flames. Calder looked back and remembered the window, then shifted the man so that he was in his arms. "Alright little man, I need you to get up here and hold onto your dad as hard as you can, got it?" he said as he took a knee, allowing the boy to get up. Now he had both father and son in his arms, so he did the smartest thing he could think of; jump out the window

He ran towards the window with both of them in his arms, all the while trying his best to focus as he headed towards the large window opening. He pulled out his revolver, using up most of his remaining shots to break the glass, then jumped right out into the open air as he gave a loud yell. As they began to fall, his wings extended from his back and took full shape, Calder flapping them as soon as he could. Even so, the fact that his one wing was damaged meant that they were going to fall eventually. They floated down towards the surface, where Calder put them down and began giving CPR to the father. After a minute the father was awake again, and before the father and son could fully repay their mysterious bug-man savior he was gone, hoping to reach city hall soon.

Azrael’s kick was a success and her foe plummeted to the earth with more burns. To her surprise however he rolled out of the way avoiding her attack this was problematic. Now she was exposed she knew it in a few moments it was either plunge her blade in concrete and be exposed or go directly after him which would likely leave her spine open for a crushing counter. She had to respond quickly. If she dissipated her blade she wouldn’t have time to deliver a good barrage of attacks. It would also lead to the further pain in her ankles but it was better then taking that iron sphere that her opponent seemed to use as a weapon.

She let her blade vanish. Landing on her wounded heal she winced in pain and smiled. She had landed on her shattered ankle a small brief geyser of blood shot outwards for a moment. Kicking off the ground she charged towards her oddly dressed challenger. She attacked with a punch and kick both charged with explosive hellfire she was confidant she would get at least one shot in. However with her other legs state she knew she had a decrease in speed which may lead to her wings taking a beating.

"OK Men. Let's bail out. The mall won't take much more of this" commanded the original to his many copies, though very weak in tone.
The copies each have innocents and were using one of the clear shattered windows on the bottom floor that leads out to the parking lot.
Their actions were slow and steady while free-hand copies and the original have tipped the emergency services outside city limits.
Ambulances and air ambulances taking it from there. Surely the White House cannot turn a blind eye to this tragedy.
Once their hands are free, the copies reaborbed back into Multiplus regaining his strength.
Now what next?
Maybe a rendezvous with Longshot, Spur or another would do.
The very last thing he would want is to meet an unfriendly face, especially since Boston is ripe for the picking for thieves, maniacs and overall scumbags .
Damn that wise man who quote "Be careful what you wish for."

He swung his weapon horizontally toward his adversary, for a final, paralyzing move. Unfortunately she was quicker than he'd expected and dodged him and landed on her feet. One of these was the leg that had been broken. Blood sprayed out of her like super soaker. The blood reminded Marco of squeezing the ketchup bottle on his burger. Ball wondered who had done more damage, he had given her a broken leg ,while she had given him a broken spine and third degree burns, neither one affecting his combat. She seemed to be enjoying the pain, giving off a demonic smile.

He looked back to see how he could end the fight quickly, preferably with the woman dead. What he had to work with was a car next to him and an old building behind him. A smile crept across his face.

She charged at him with superhuman speed which had been slowed down by her bad leg. He turned to the car and ripped the door  off of its hinges. Ball held it between him and the Bat-woman, using it as a shield.  She hit it with impressive force made even more, with the inferno of fire following. In truth he could have stood there like a brick wall, but that wasn't part of his plan. He pushed of and rode the wave of the explosion into the building. He landed in the kitchen breaking some cupboards, plates and walls. Ball made Marco's body go limp and slowed his heart to a near stop. The plan involved the woman coming into the house and thinking he was dead. When that happened he could begin the grand finale of the battle.

Azrael saw her opponent raise a door to function as a shield. He had pulled it off a near by car and was using it as a defensive mechanism. Azrael found it smart on his welfare but foolish of a hero. They’re supposed to help the civilians now that guy will be broke for a month as her pays for repairs. Course then again there's a strong possibility the man was dead after all I’ve been killing every living thing in sight she thought. Her challengers shield took a large dent from the attack. At that point it was likely a better umbrella then shield. The fashion deprived man flew threw a wall. That seemed a bit extreme by her calculations the door took the majority of force. Whether it was her being over eccentric in her moves or a trick she would approach a bit cautiously.

The demoness strutted forwards. Her leg didn't feel great but she took the pain with joy. She casually approached the fallen opponent. Nearing the hole in the wall she tossed a fireball into the opening. As it entered it burst a grenade of needles thou not vital they were sure to be unpleasant. She went to the door and opened it acting like the hole in the wall wasn't there. Entering the kitchen she laughed, "I’m not cleaning this up" she remarked with a laugh. Her words weren't aimed at anyone in particular just her being herself. Glancing over she saw the target.

The man was tacky as hell. "D@mn what are you the Knight in Tattered Rags. You would think with your stature and that chain gang device you would have say a prison outfit. Instead you look like a retard trying to play judge jury and executioner,” she was giggling at her words. She couldn't see if her needles hit and couldn't tell the extent of damage on the man. He could be alive and so she was on her guard. She ran forwards the short distance aiming to bring her right blade down on the man's jugular. The left arm was at the ready should her foe try anything.

Explosion or not that wouldn’t help Longshot’s current situation. While it did make him flinch the kick that he tried to deliver failed when Reaper swiftly reached down and grabbed his ankle. Through his broken sunglasses he glared at him with his bright yellow eyes, “I really liked this coat,” he said as he waved the collar around. Then once again he tossed him after which he slipped his coat off and removed his broken sunglasses from his face. “Well now I see how you wish to play,” he said as he walked over to Longshot Reaper grabbed his foes shoulder swiftly. “Here’s something I forgot to give you when we last met,” he used his gravity powers to begin to crush Longshot’s internal organs.

Suddenly he felt two hands grab his shoulders and soon he felt himself flying backwards. It didn’t do much as instantly he reappeared on his feet, but he saw his sister charging at him. She wrapped her legs around his upper torso and used her free hand to grip the back of his neck, she then aimed the gun right in front of his face. The trigger fired until all twenty rounds of the magazine were gone, the bullets merely fell to the ground as they appeared smashed. Reaper broke his arms out of her grip easily and delivered a palm into his sister’s chest which sent her sliding next to Longshot. “Suppose this is the thanks I get for saving you from the fire,” he shouted at her, soon though a beeping sound took over the silent room and Reaper pulled out his phone. There was a pause for a minute as he listened to his phone, “hmm alright the transfer is complete I’ll be the shortly.” After he slid the phone shut he returned his attention to the duo trying to fight him, “sorry dynamic duo but I’ve got work to do but I might as well keep you entertained.”

The man who was lying on the ground had woken up and began to scramble away from Reaper. “2923 think about what your doing the General is still will-,” his sentence was cut off when Reaper jabbed him in the neck with a type of syringe that he removed from his pocket. The man fell to the ground grasping his neck as he flailed back and forth on the floor, before he stood up and began to mutate into some type of creature.

When it was complete the once human had transformed into a type of giant man scorpion drooling all over the floor. Reaper stood next to it, “kill them freak,” he said as he patted it on the back of it’s head before he flew out the window and out of sight. The new scorpion like creature charged the duo intent on killing them.

He could see the woman inching forward through the hole he had made. He started to notice things in the kitchen when his opponent took a tad too long. It smelled of cooked roast beef and ash, the ash smell coming from him. On the table there was still bits of food and four plates were still there. What he was assuming was a family had gotten up and left in the middle of dinner, Ball wondered if this was during the earthquake or during the riots. This started to bore him to and he turned his attention back to the bat woman.

She shot a fireball through the hole and it burst into red hot needles. A few hit him in the gut, but were unable to go very far. Instead of using the the gaping hole in the wall she used the door. >How rude she didn't even knock< Ball exclaimed to Marco. She laughed to herself  "I’m not cleaning this up".  Of course she wasn't, with what was about to happen to it, there wouldn't be much to clean up. "D@mn what are you the Knight in Tattered Rags. You would think with your stature and that chain gang device you would have say a prison outfit. Instead you look like a retard trying to play judge jury and executioner". She was very cocky about her position in this.

She charged him with her sword aimed for somewhere around his neck. With a great burst of speed, Ball dodged and got back up on his feet in the same instant. Before she could react he rammed through a wall and headed outside. It was easy to find what he needed. A car painted mustard had been abandoned. He quickly grabbed a hold of the front and began to spin it around. After it was off the ground he let go and the car achieved flight. It crashed through the building he had previously been in. If the structure had not been weakened by the earthquake it might not have collapsed. In the now however the building came crumbling down on his enemy. The metal and brick crumpling made a sound that could be heard at least ten blocks away. Ball started walking off to find Longshot or Black Jacket, or whoever else was out there.

Azrael charged at her opponent to her disappointment she realized her speed had gone down considerably. This was an issue this fight was in need of ending soon. She had pressed on threw wounds more grievous but those were not ones that effected performance. Fractured ribs and stab wounds in your ribcage hurt worse than her current pains but they weren't ever going to kill arguably her biggest advantage in a fight. If this goofy looking prison inmate didn't wind up dead soon they would have to cut this fight short. At the last moment her target got up. Either he was remarkably fast, or her speed was off more then she thought. She felt sure her blade should have been deep in his throat. She liked it this man was a challenge at least in her current state. He plowed thru a wall before she could react. Brick flew outwards as a cloud of chalky dust filled the air around her. She coughed and looked up to see her opponent preparing his next move. He had scanned the streets littered in debris and corpses. What he settled on picking up was a car. A really ugly yellow car. Azrael hated yellow particularly the mustard yellow the car was. It was such a bright color and never looked good really on anything. Now an ugly thing like that was being used as a weapon. That's just wrong she thought as the man picked it up. A weapon should be a beautiful extension of the body. It should be valued and cared for. While she understood this was more of a random weapon it was still repulsive. The ugly vehicle was held over the targets head about to be thrown. With her speed so greatly reduced she chose to use steel over speed. Raising her arms into a blocking stance she raped herself in a sphere of metal. It was haphazard in construction but she predicted it would be enough. The car collided with the building and ran into the metallic orb. She was pushed backward a step and heard the building creek. She faintly heard the support beams snap. The building was coming down. Her barrier held thru allot of the attack. The barrier broke at the last second however and she took a hit. A brick fell on her head; it was comical at least to Blair. Blood ran down her face, she tilted her head up smiling as blood ran into her mouth. She looked to see that tacky looking foe, walking off. He thought she was done? A building would be the downfall of a demon? She sure as hell wasn't going to let that slide. They would likely conclude their dual both alive but she was not going to allow her opponent to walk off thinking he won via a ugly a$$ yellow car. "You shouldn't turn your back till you know there done honey" she yelled as she hurled a barrage of large spikes at her opponent. They were like spears. Black ash brimstone lit aflame and hurtling at her opponent. Hopefully she would fly off after this knowing her opponent had been impaled on one of her wicked devices.

Longshot jumped to his feet and slipped his rebreather in under his mask as a cloud of tear gas filled the room. "I really liked this coat." Reaper muttered nonchalantly. He then tossed Longshot across the room, crashing into a stone pillar. Paxton was about to get to his feet when he felt a pressure in his chest that twisted his stomach. "Here's something I forgot to give you when we least met." Reaper taunted. Just as Longshot felt as though his lungs were going to collapse, the woman attacked Reaper from behind, drawing his attention. He made short work of her and tossed her aside. Longshot lay curled up on the floor, feeling like a sledgehammer pounded into his gut. He kept down the puke he was heaving up and slowly rose to his feet.

When his head stopped spinning, Paxton saw a monstrous creature standing before them, jaws dripping, claws snapping and spindly, spiked tail thrashing back and forth. This thing carried a pain in its eyes hidden behind all the rage. Underneath, it was human, it was suffering. The thing had no control over its mind, only instinct.

Still breathing heavily and taking the occasional wave of pain that rushed through his stomach, Longshot took a fighting stance. The creature's anatomy would be harder to exploit strategically, but he wasn't backing down. He looked at the girl. "Hey," he whispered to her, "Remember that whole thing about working together? Now'd be a good time to start."

Ted after asking permission to their young leader Longshot, speeds through the streets, the pavement newly made..the tires of his motorcycle gripped on the cement of the highway like it was magnet, but it wasn't, it was due to Ted's experience on maneuvering his motorcycle that he did so well throughout the years, motorcycles were the ones that ended many crime lords career and put them into the rotting cells of jails, jails specially belt for them. Ted was quite concentrated on his still unknown mission, the settle down earthquake team mission he left for this, what could this mission be? One of the great heroes should know Ted may not be the smartest heroes, he could not make a computer out of junk, but he had common sense, he knew what he would put in priority first, if he left his team for his personal mission, it should be important..very important, but maybe this was because he had faith on his newly found team.

How many years has Ted been put in the line of fire, for how many years has been in life threatening scenarios..he might have the most experience on the team, but he is certainly the oldest among the team members, experience usually means age. And age will play a number in almost every job, specially in the hero business. Ted finally reached his designation, one of the joyfullest streets in America, but one of the lowest too. The streets was a victim of drug lords, crime lords, and gang wars. Because of the damage done, and the great young people, Wild Cat, a champion boxer has been supporting this great community and some of the great people who are living in it. Forty percent of the profits he makes in his Gym is sent solely on this community, fifty goes to himself, and ten percent goes to random people who deserves it.

A young man, probably sixteen years of age ran as fast as he could and hugged Ted still on his motorcycle "TED!" Rodney the young man exclaimed as Ted hugged him back. "MOM! DAD! TED's BACK!" The young man called onto his parents which too was equally excited as their child. The father of Rodney came to Ted in a big smile "Thank you so much, for your support to us, and the community..you truly are a hero Wild cat" Shaking Ted's hand with great excitement the father did. "Please, call me Ted Mr.Patrick." Ted informed the father as he handed him the forty percent which probably sixty thousand in cash. "I hope you can get out much of that sir." Ted informed "First of all, Ted, if I'm calling you Ted, than you can call me Patrick, second of all...you've done so much already, thank you so much" "Don't even think about it Patrick" Ted replied "Hey, Ted can you be on my team? Lets shoot some hoops today, if your you know, not kicking ass!" Rodney asked "Sure, but go ask your parents first" Rodney looked up to his father, and Patrick nodded "YES! LETS GO TED!" Rodney with excitement shown all over his face, as Ted and Rodney went and headed to the newly built basketball court.

Ball kept walking down the street until he heard  someone yell "You shouldn't turn your back till you know they're done honey". Now this was interesting, the woman had apparently survived the full force of a building crashing down on her. Before he could turn dozens of needles shot into his hide. Piercing an inch into him so that he looked like a humanoid hedgehog. Of course he couldn't feel this but judging from Marco's mind scream it hurt badly.

He could do a few thing in this situation. He could turn around and keep fighting until they both wore away to nothing, leaving his new friends unaided. He could play dead again and wait for her to leave, but from what the bat woman had tried to do to him a few minutes ago that wouldn't work and he'd still end up in a fight. The third one was very chancy and could lead to his death, but it would be so fun to see his opponents reaction.

So he kept walking, without even stopping to check his wounds from the spikes or looking behind him. This way he would have more time to aid his new friends if needed. The battle didn't even matter anyway. She was more of an annoyance than a threat since she killed everyone in this vicinity and he could always fight her another day. This, however was under the entire assumption she was psychotic and would tire of prey that didn't fight back or scream in pain or even notice she was there at all. Nobody liked being ignored and this definitely counts for a flying pyrokinetic that made stupid jokes during a fight.

Azrael watched as the various needles filled the back of her opponent. He was still standing which lead her to believe he was a host for the ball and chain. This would allow him to continue despite the agonizing beating he had taken. Either that or this guy felt no pain and had no desire to continue this battle. He continued to walk off past the burning cars and corpses. He was calling it quits she could take this battle as her own victory. She had ended several lives and had stood her ground against four different heroes at the same time. However she didn’t like this anticlimactic ending it needed something better then a simple walk away.

She flew and landed in front of her prior challenger. “Your right to walk off this fight has nothing going for it now. However you’ve left a villain as you would call me to walk free. Don’t strut off thinking yourself noble when the killer flies off able to kill again. I hope you’ve eyed another host because I don’t expect this ugly being to last in our next encounter.” She smiles sure it was nothing special but it meant more than simply turning the left cheek and fading into the distance. She stretched out her bat like wings and flew off to the Syndicate mansion to lick her wounds. She made sure to toss a couple fireballs at the fleeing pedestrians. It wasn’t a high addition to her body count but hopefully there distant screams would be a reminder to the heroes and their failure to save this city. Least she considered it a victory for her.

"Hey," he whispered to her, "Remember that whole thing about working together? Now'd be a good time to start." She couldn’t agree more with him, the creature she had seen something like it before but never so complete. Usually the transformation took hours and even then all that was accomplished was a horribly mutated person that was mad with rage, never a completely different species had taken the place of the human. The new creature had become something entirely different more ferocious and controlled something that the creators of the virus could never do.

Jenna stepped next to her new friend and reloaded her gun. “Look I know you think there is a human in there but you’re wrong, it is a monster and as far as I know the process cannot be reversed.” The scorpion like creature steadily approached the duo, it’s large tail swung back and forth hitting the support pillars along it’s way. “That armor looks thick the best chance we have of taking it down is to attack it’s soft spots,” even with that Jenna wasn’t sure her brother had managed to improve on the organizations efforts and create a killing machine. Jenna stood up and aimed her gun at the creature, “Remember it isn’t human anymore and the best thing we can do is stop it from killing others.”

"Deal." Longshot replied and rushed the creature, jumping in the air with impeccable speed and aiming to kick it in the face. The beast thrashed a powerful arm, sending him sliding across the floor with a long cut on his torso. The jacket took the cut, but the blunt force went straight into his ribcage. He picked himself up off the floor, "Lemme try that again." Longshot raced behind the scorpion, leaping into the air while simultaneously drawing two arrows, one in each hand. He jumped and put his legs out in front, rebounding off a pillar and coming up on the creature from behind. As he eyed the green, scaly armor of the mutant, Longshot spotted two narrow openings where the armor on the shoulder meets the armor on the bicep. Still in the air, the archer jabbed both arrow into the small openings then put his legs between himself and the monsters back, drop kicking the now crippled beast towards his accomplice. "All yours!"
