CVnU: Japanese Mythology Discussion

I've taken a big interest in Japanese mythology and I'd like to incorporate a lot of it into my characters etc. but in accordance to CVnU rules, I invite anyone who might be interested in doing something with Japanese mythology to discuss how it should be used in canon and whatnot. Whoever is interested, just say so in this thread and you'll be added to a group PM for the discussion. So whoever wants to do something with Japanese mythology and deities, tell me here so we can come up with some awesome ideas :)

Also, is this Mythological only, or would this also be the place to go for certain historical happenings and things, e.g., the Shinsengumi.

Anyway, I suppose it would be more...correct(?) to say I wish to handle something, and this is me going through the rules to handle it properly. If anybody else has anything, this would be the place to say so.

@zauberin: I should somehow link Shinigami into Japanese Vine Mythology shouldn't I? He could be the universal offical demon of death...but then I get lazy.

@pyrogram: Keep it just at humanity, I'd honestly reject any canon about a demon of human origin being present in the mythologies of aliens. Especially the ones I make.

@pyrogram: Well Koshmar was *a* Nightmare based Demon who held the abstract objectification of dreams before Jade dealt with him. Dreams are a powerful way to induce fear.

@guardian_of_gravity: Shinigami does not induce fear. He feeds off of fear (and anger). He can induce fear, for example he went into chevalieres dream once and scared her. But usually only feeds off of fear and anger.

@pyrogram: Would he be interested in claiming the dream stone? Or would be be too terrified of following the same path as it's last owner. :P
