While it is a well known truth that Blues are an endangered species, and unlike in the comics never seem to work together on the Vine, what three writers would you want to see front the hypothetical Blue Dream team?

(Yes I know Prime had heroes galore, this is a CVnU related question)

never seem to work together on the Vine

This is not entirely true. Back in the day we had heroes, and we were numerous. Those days fell long ago however and most users nowadays were not around for that time. As for the subjects quesitons.

Surkit, Ellie, and PsyKnight

I can hardly tell who's who anymore after the blue, red, and grey bars were removed... honestly didn't even realise blues were going extinct xD

Buuuut, the three blues that always come to mind for me are Andy, Feral Nova, and Sha. They were all blues the last time I was here, and they're all amazing writers.

I'm talking about CVnU, not Prime

@armistice: I'm not familiar enough with the who's who in the CVnU yet. All I really know are Prime xD

#7 Edited by Andy Steven Summers (5234 posts) - - Show Bio

@armistice: I figured as much, but wanted to point that out just in case. As a lot of people are not aware of that fact I'm sure.

plans on being good for the right motivation

or staying neutral permanantly

;____;

such a hard choice?

choosing between

Lycan Oasis or a 250K Heroic strong Lycan army.

Ahh the blues...it feels like folklore whenever they're discussed.

Now if we're talk'n about a G.I. Joe team I'll make Hudson a hero right now if i can get on that team.

#15 Posted by Andy Steven Summers (5234 posts) - - Show Bio

@uncommon: haha

With the new movie out I'm surprised no one has tried to kick start a G.I. Joe rpg.

Because we would have a dozen people fighting to be Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow

True, but they can fight as long as they want as long as I get Flint.

#24 Posted by Andy Steven Summers (5234 posts) - - Show Bio

@armistice: Last one I did on the Vine, Gambler and I were those two.

@uncommon: Not sure who I would want to be if one was done.

Think my deciding factor might be how many we have sign up for either side.

<-----I'd take Zartan, Firefly (Arashikage edition), Major Blood, either of the Crimson Guard Commanders, etc.

And my hero squad would be

Andfrene, Nahteb, and Ellie

Or Pyrogram, Bloodstone, Surkit

I'd be all over that once I get things with Ellie settled.

@quintus_knightfall: if the team failed before, that might just be a sign to let the idea go...

What team? I was talking about making a Gi Joe rpg :P

I dont subscribe to the idea that if something failed before dont try it again.

With the right and most importantly regularly active team members i could be persuaded to finally make CVNU Eddy.

As for picking a team i agree with pretty much every proposed roster above.

@lord_johnathan was right

@Mr_LeBeau said:

Then make em lol.

I have made them. I'm waiting for you all to see that "Dark and edgy"=/= "Cool and mature." Darkness for the sake of darkness is adolescent immaturity, plain and simple. If we moved to a more bronze age tone, I think the VU would be better. I'm not saying go back to communist lava gorillas from the moon, but make a world you'd want to escape to, not from.

@Mattersuit :

Because honestly, me and everyone else would much rather have Stan lees, Jack Kirbys, and Steve Ditkos over Todd McFarlanes, Pat Lees, and Rob Liefelds.

@Mattersuit said:

@Lord_Johnathan: Morally? This ain't kindergarten junior.

What this has become is 40k in spandex, scratch that, 40k in LEATHER because nobody wears costumes or flashy power armor. Where's my classical superheroes?

@Mattersuit:

Well, all the ones who are barely better than the villains they fight morally speaking. This shouldn't be Warhammer 40k in spandex.

@Mattersuit said:

@Lord_Johnathan said:

Anyone else feel like we need a genuinely heroic team?

Yup.

Yeah because all the Rob liefeld esque anti-heroes and villains are getting tiresome.

@Surkit :

Read some of Liefeld's works and tell me they're not the basest form of immature drivel. Go ahead, it's impossible. There's a reason why it was called the Dark Ages, because it SUCKED.
