CVnU: Egyptian Mythology Discussion - RPG

In accordance with the CVnU rules on mythology, I invite people to discuss how Egyptian Mythology (and some history) should be used in canon (since I plan on using it myself), I'll create a group PM for this as people join.
Note: It isn't a requirement to connect one's character to Egypt just to join the PM discussion, you just need some interest in the topic.

@Izaiah: Well people can go half/half with alien and deity, maybe there were deities a while ago then they left. This absence creates gap for aliens to masquerade for a while, then they take different schedules.

I'm kinda interested in what ideas are being tossed, but I'd probably have nothing big or anything to contribute anyway, so I'll wait for the end result.

Well the secrets to Egyptian mythology is in dating the pyramids & tombs Oldest first, once you have a time line ,then you have a story of the gods in chronological order

written on the walls in hieroglyphics. Who killed who & so on, it gets pretty complicated especially if you factor in a lot of the house god's and assistant gods.

Like the crocodile god Anubis fed the hearts of the unworthy to after weighing them on his scales.

Brilliant stuff boring as hell when i say it though XD

@Izaiah: Was the discussion just for getting the egyptian mythology/pantheon approved for use in the nU canon or did you guys actually go over stuff? I just wanna know what from ancient egyptian mythology/history is allowed to be used here.

The purpose of the discussion was to make sure that whatever plans any of us had with mythology, wouldn't step on the others' toes. Once everyone was more or less agreed, I submitted my concept (an Ancient Aliens interpretation on the Pantheon) to the Congress of Editors, who approved of its canonicity.
I'd like to hear your ideas though, also are you someone's alt?
