CVnU conspiracy theories

What your character would think of about whats going on in the CVnU. And make up crazy character theories about how some characters could be family, or about how two groups are just copy cats of each other. This is both IC and OOC so talk away just make sure to use these ( ).

Didn't put much thought into it, just thought we needed something new.

Some of Abigail's theories:

- Ivana didn't really "take Venezuela with a (single) knife-throw." That's just some bullshit she and her people made up after the fact to try to sell her as a badass, to inspire fear and awe.

- Charlemagne LeBeau is a mutant himself, driven by some guilt or pain from his past.

- Antonia Dain disappeared without faking her death, but simply assumed a new identity somewhere in the world. She had to be getting tired of the perpetual target on her back, and as much as she tried to present herself as cold, the civilian deaths - particularly of employees after her revelation - began to weigh on her. With her out of the way and a new CEO in place, the company would be less of a target for her enemies, making it more profitable as a company and more safe as a workplace.

That LoK Amon-like theory though.

I never got past a few episodes, actually. Now I get the gist of what you're saying, but not personally.

@dreadpool10: When she first fought him he was somewhere around the peak human level; next time, he's a Superman-level guy. Then back down. And he never really was quite normal.

And with how persistent and pervasive his hatred is, it would lead one to believe he was almost certainly something greater than the usual fear-based hate.

Interesting thread idea, I like it.

For Ophelia:

• Thinks Dark Vengeance is a literal bat-man, living in a underground cave and surviving on a mushroom garden like a mole or something.
• Believes Plex and later Ozzy were recaptured by whatever remained of LinkTech.
• Had originally thought that Nymphixia had been killed by whatever group was after her when they first met, but later tried to convince herself that she had done something wrong and driven her away... because it was more comforting.

Fox thinks that the IMCA is a faction of Maverick that does it's dirty work.

Mwahaha.

The Knightfalls & LeBeaus are related through an unknown relative. A Missing Mutant Link as it were.

Ivana doesn't take much on faith. Plus her formative years were in the Soviet Union where the official line and the truth were often separated by a great distance. I imagine she believes a lot of things accepted as fact in the CVnU are actually BS. But I have never made a list or anything.

That makes me think. It's a little odd, having both Abby and LL active at the same time but also each hardly if at all acknowledging the other's existence.

Then again, it might be trouble if I invite LL to take down Satar (or someone) and Ivana shows up too and we're supposed to work in conjunction. Then there's the whole League of Shadows deal, and the eye, and methods and...
