I've been thinking about redesigning the CV Cards template for 2014. Yay? Nay? Any particular fields, features or design elements you'd like to see implemented?
I'm honestly more looking for feature suggestions than votes at the moment (I figure that if there's any voting to be done, it should be when there's a finished design available). Thanks for the confidence y'all though.

@quintus_knightfall: Gotcha. Unsure if I want to add any grid point fields (or any required fields for that matter) though. I kinda want to keep the cards 'backward compatible' (if that makes any sense), so old cards can be converted into the new format without having to necessarily add new info.
@allegiance: A background image, you mean? I've thought about it. Would prolly have to be an optional feature though (for reasons stated above).
@izaiah: Things like a rarity level broken up by Gold silver Bronze or Hall of fame Legendary, common cards for people just starting here and over time they increase in rarity.
cards for actual team, locations, and events.
I played yu-gi-oh hard core when I was younger and I just keep thinking back to that. :P
@lady_liberty: What about the grid system would you like changed?
@_nexus_: The rarity level sounds slightly...problematic, for the lack of a better term. There's already the 'legend' badges as well as the Hall of Fame logos.
Teams and locations could possibly be workable. I seem to recall ReEnforcer doing (or at least attempting) the former on some occasion.
@izaiah: Everything. I'd like it to be based on a combination of class and rank. Classes being 'Street Level' and 'Powerhouse'. Each stat would have ten ranks instead of seven, and the ranks would have a different meaning depending on what class someone was. Trying to squeeze people who can bust planets in with people who can just benchpress a car produces a stat system that is often meaningless.
@lady_liberty: It's a decent idea (if not very backward compatible). I wouldn't know how to go about planning out such a system though.
I'm admittedly not a very big fan of the grid system myself, and I've thought about making it an optional field, with the alternative being a list or description of the character's powers.
@izaiah: Yeah, I can understand that. I'm pretty good with designing systems like that but it would probably take me a couple of days to design one like I proposed. Zero backwards compatibility though, especially as I would probably increase the number of stats measured.
That's another good idea.
I like the idea of having "classes" i would like to put forward (weapons master,assassin,) as an option to cover people who use blades as well as firearms. Though i would like to see maybe some new options in the grid system, that's a tough ask.The rest is bang on i feel

You should make a trading card game out of it lol 'Cv Character/RPG battle cards'
For real though, a specific battle info part on the card somehow would be interesting, I know some are too long for that but it'd be soemthing to see if made doable.
you know what would be interesting if in canon characters reference CV cards, not the characters on the card but just the idea themselves. For example seeing some kid playing a card game and it's CV cards.
I like that. Should sell it, maybe your guy decides to monopolize on the fact nobody's done it yet and you can evolve him into a hero with some money to blow.
