So that ending of LOK, I liked it. I mean... Questions of course of a lot of things. But that ending, yes.
Avalon (CVnU Enterprise/Location)
Actually now that I think about it, I liked it if it was a ending for a season, not for the whole series... I mean, it was good, I liked it but it fell short. I WANT MORE!
@feral_nova: Hopefully there will be comics. Like the ones that showed whatever happened to Princess Ursa.
Nastya blinked twice. "Huh." By the wide-eyed expression on her face, she hadn't expected him to be so forthcoming with his response. She'd only known about the connection through a cursory check, visually cross-referencing him with images of the two taken from traffic cams or otherwise. But, unorthodox as the questions were, and unlikely as his responses seemed to hold any value besides entertaining a nosy chairwoman, they seemed to the young queen quite telling indeed. Even with harmless details such as those, most people had a tendency towards anger when their private lives were scrutinized; Kieran took it in stride. Not one of those stuffy, easily offended types. Less likely to be a whistle-blower. But based on his relationship - or rather, his reasons for forgoing a deeper relationship - with Abigail, the man was reasonably principled. Less likely to betray a friend. This she assumed included Santi, and hopefully soon herself as well.
As Wilshire continued, however, the fledgeling CEO found herself totally baffled by the topic of conversation. Extinct Kejijo? Witches of New Orleans? Of the jargon salad he produced, she barely understood a word or reference, save for a loose understanding of "chi." Making a mental not to check keywords of his response with Aeon, Nastya spun in her chair so her back faced the Magitek prospect, once again leaning in shoulder to shoulder with Santi. She spoke in a poorly hushed whisper. "I don't really know all of what he just said, but I like him and he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Plus he could probably teach me a thing or two. I think we want him."
Judging from Anastasia's reaction and the facial expression it created, Kieran understood that his response, or perhaps the easygoing demeanor with which he answered such personal questions took her by surprise. Santiago for his part, remained quiet but offered a subtle, approving nod. Kieran's reasoning behind not attempting to pursue a greater relationship with Abigail for the time being reminded him somewhat of why he did the same when Antonia was still present, and it left him pensive for a moment. While the Spaniard drifted off in his own thoughts, Kieran's gaze rested upon Anastasia, casting a quick, winsome wink to counteract the odd atmosphere created by her silence.
Soon the Avalon Queen's silence was broken and in a hushed voice, made her remarks for Santiago to hear. "He is an expert in his field, bella. Tis no surprise that we do not understand his words when he goes on and on about things we don't quite yet understand", the Madrid Viper paused, speaking in the same hushed tone as Anastasia, "As flippant as he is, Kieran takes his knowledge and research over magic quite seriously. I think accepting him is also the right decision". Meanwhile, as the two spoke, Kieran, pretending not to hear their conversation, distracted himself momentarily by smiling as he watched a video on his iPhone 6 of him securing a double leg takedown against Santiago before flashing the screen to the Spaniard's daughter with a chuckle.

I know, skittles are such a bitch. Once you eat a bag you want to eat five more, after that you begin to snort them.
@_darkwing_: I use to love skittles.
@_darkwing_: That's a lot of skittles.
@connoisseur: "Well then, it is law," she said, spinning back around in her chair. "Not yet, of course, but soon enough. I'll have Santi do the paperwork, drawing up contracts or whatever else needs to be done - por favor?" She looked to the Spaniard with lightheartedly pleading eyes. "Then I will read over it, add my own terms and edits, and do the signature deal." She concluded with a beaming smile.
Holy sh!t, I finally have a hopefully unique idea for a tech character. I'll get onto it today. (Good idea to sit by the computer not even a day after having fever lol)
@vinnie_tahoe: Ohh, cool. I look forward to seeing it; you usually make interesting bios.
@strigidae_23: Thanks. That's what happens when you have no friends. (╥﹏╥)
Jokes aside, I am a bit slacking in my bios lately. The only complete bios that I can remember were Alonzo, Lazarus and Frank and even they need some fixing.
@_darkwing_: Taste the rainbow.
@vinnie_tahoe: Awww!
Then you're probably the only person on this site with a complete bio haha.
@Strigidae_23
That banned skittles commercial, gave taste the rainbow a whole new meaning.
Vampires would probably get diabetes from my blood.
@_darkwing_: They probably would haha.
@strigidae_23
It would be cool to see someone implement that when they're writing a vampire. Like if they bite someone that has super powers and say radioactive blood it might make them stronger or hurt them in a different way.
@_darkwing_: He reminds me of Ethan Stark in Prime.
@_darkwing_: He was Tranquil's main back in Prime. He was part Kryptonian, part Olympian and part other stuff too if I remember correctly.
@strigidae_23
I originally intended this character to be the proverbial child of Romeo and Juliet. I asked Gambler if there was any way that he could be Charles's son and a also a Knightfall and he told me that Isadora teamed up with him to fight Quintus. I didn't know that Charles had sort of raised her and that she was the daughter of Zicarra. That was all a surprise to me
@_darkwing_: Well it gives you ties to most of the major canons.
@strigidae_23
That's true, it makes it easier to find a reason.to participate in most events. It also makes for some interesting character development when you have three bloodlines that are so different and constantly at each other's throats. In the end like I've said before he can become a supremacist, a vigilante or a new god.
I didn't like GotG as much as I thought I would, which is a disappointment in itself as I love anything to do with Bradley Cooper. I feel like it was one of Marvel's weaker movies. The instant dynamic between Gamora and Starlord was too forced for me, also.
@the_mercenary: While I certainly agree that GotG wasn't particualrly "strong," I found myself enjoying it quite a bit, mainly because you can tell that everyone involved in the production was having a lot of fun with the concepts, setting, and characters, and they made sure that it showed. I definitely agree that the dynamic between Starlord and Gamora was forced; they really had no chemistry as a couple. I think that speaks to a larger trope within Hollywood in general, though; there seems to be some unwritten rule, at least in action-adventure films, that the male and female lead characters have to wind up as a couple.
Yikes my writing is rusty.
looks like someone needs to make a long and detailed post soon lol

I'm really hoping so! Do you know who puts out the Avatar comics? are they even still running? >_>
