As per the CVnU laws and unarguable rules of the ruling regime (kidding of course) this is not necessarily an empire claim, but it is. I know, we all hate empire claims after the giant spike not too long ago, but I believe a society based on a monarchy like Atlantis is imperative to a community like ours both IC and OOC. It allows another aspect of characters to be created and creates a neutral nation that can both attack or defend other nations based on self preservation or self desires as opposed to moral obligations.

• Chimera will attempt to destroy the tyrannical governing family of Atlantis
• He will replace it with a royal family of his own
• This new monarchy will begin to interfere with affairs of the surface dwellers, both mutants and humans

The rules are simple and always the same. The first and IC post will be up in 3 days. The IC OP will be posted tomorrow with further explanation. I know, I know I suck for this empire claim, but I just think it would be really awesome for future RPs.

Hmmmm... I actually agree that an active/semi active Atlantis adds something to the section and I won't oppose it.

1.I had already made an Atlantis at the rise of CVNU

2. It was made with the idea that other people would want in, in mind.

3. How I did that was split the empire into global colonies of migrated Atlantians.

There really isn't a need to make a claim or fight for it. Everyone can call their characters Atlantian royalty and not be wrong, so long as the empires aren't in the same part of the sea.

That's actually the goal, Unity. Not war. Almost how @the_shogun grasped a nation from the brink of self destruction and unified them under a single banner with minimal casualties. As long as you're ok with it. You are the architect of the first Atlantis incarnation and I don't want to change canon or take something that was never up for grabs.

@_chimera: I'm gonna throw Dakota in here because I need some IC interaction with him and a way to show off his powers, and an underwater setting with a character he could work well with (be it friend or foe) seems like a good place to start.

Planned something similar a few weeks ago with an Aquaman alt, but I scrapped it cause Aquaman isn't bada** enough. I support this thing though, brings something new to the plate.
