Stark was never that good at Hand-to-Hand combat relative to the rest of the Meta-Human community, he always relied on his suits and the little training and power-boost that the Peak serum had given him, however he had now found himself in a position where he did not have access to more than one suit at a time and did not know where he would find his next power-up, He needed more than his intermediate combat training, upon leaving as a CEO his goals were simple -

  • Find inner and spiritual peace after the heartache he had caused himself
  • Dedicate a considerable amount of time into developing his physical body without the suit
  • Defeat the president, or at-least help
  • Travel into Venezuela possibly and lead a rebellion under-cover

And a few others that were less time-consuming, but possibly more important, for example finding peace with his son @dexter_stark who he had not seen in 15 years.

Stark decided for the next week he would train nearly solely to build up his neurological and muscle memory pathways to make him more have more efficiency in combat without the suit, he was going to go one-step further than train his muscles and even mind, he was going to train his nervous system directly, for a week straight he would instead of sleep - Get horizon to go into his mind and directly re-jig his nervous system to learn, adapt and repair quicker than usual so he could gain more experience and bodily perfection in combat around 5x faster than the average human, so a one week course would become a 5 week hardcore training session.

However for this training he would travel up-to the mountains in India where the infamous and famous in other parts of the world Gurkha's trained, they trained in conditions that physically made the body more strong by living in a an altitude that increases their red-blood cells meaning they can out-perform most standard humans, Stark would train here for a single week, which would equate to five.

-

Once he had had arrived in the country he was greeted by an old SAS friend who was a meta-human gona rogue from an old US Military/British Royal Marine task division now turned trainer for the Gurkha army.

He had promised to train stark.

The man was a ruthless killer and one of the best ( supposedly ) Combat trainers in the world, he would beat what he could into stark with pure brutal training. Tony had agreed to let the man do whatever he thought was right....this..would not turn out that great...

-

Day one..

"TONY YOU COWARD GET THE FU**" UP!" The Ex-SAS Vet towered above Tony as he shouted frantically at him, Tony waved him off but before he could finish the man grabbed him by the shoulders, kneed him in the stomach then repeatedly punched him in the face, Tony would have repaired from this damage but he had restricted access to his Peak serum for the week. The Ex-SAS Vet continued beating Tony until he managed to kick him off violently, the two broke out into a scuffle that Tony had no chance of winning, he left the battle with a broken nose, 4 broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a shattered kidney. He used the Peak serum to heal himself the next-day quickly even though he had sworn against it.

The next day..

Tony had awoken one hour sooner than before, he did not know what the man was planning today but he was going to catch him unaware by hiding on the roof with some special magnet thing he had made, he waited for the man for over an hour, he was just about to drop when something rolled into the room. Staring at it...His eyes widened as a flash-bang had just been thrown in, this made Stark fall to the ground, and get beaten mercilessly again and again as he attempted to defend against the vile beating...he suffered worse injuries than yesterday..

Day three..

Stark was allowed a full days rest in a way, he was told to sit at the highest summit of the mountain and use horizon to train his mind and nervous system without breaking concentration, doing this awake would benefit him far more than doing so as-sleep.

Horizon created a virtual reality for Tony inside of his head, Tony liked ninjas so he decided to fight them in his mind for over 12 hours that day, total accumulated hours taking into account the Horizon effect meant it was over 60 hours of pure training. This was going to help him heavily on the fourth day.

Day four..

Stark was awoken, today he was allowed to sleep properly, the SAS Vet was teaching him how to anticipate attacks and understand how the opponents body would move in such a way it would reveal their intentions before they had even attacked, to initiate this training he was going to get Tony to fight a different array of people, all day Tony fought without a break against over 50 people, being forced to watch in a grueling accumulated 50 hours of combined training on the fourth day now his totaling up to now over 200 hours of training, he could already feel himself getting stronger physically and mentally.

Day Five and six

These days where virtually the same, Tony got up - trained for over 50 hours and fallen back to sleep, over 100hours of training was done on the 5th and 6th day. He had defeated the Gurkha best also in a 1V10 attack, that had made him feel very proud.

Day seven..the last day..

Stark had been trained for this for the last six days, totaling over 300 hours of training in his awake state alone, he was now stronger than he had ever been before. His nervous system was at its peak and optimum level however he had one final challenge, he was told to kill his SAS master - His master why dying from Aids, he wanted a easy way out with honor.

Stark circled his trainer, sneering at him he charge forward with a volley of punches aimed at his head as a distraction when in reality he was going to attempt to break the mans knee with a well placed kick then swing his foot back round with a kick at his opposite ankle, taking the man off his feat.

The Veteran let the few punches connect with his head as he buckled backwards but absorbed the damage, he then grabbed starks foot that had attempted to break his knee and spun Stark around and given him 5 quick punches to the back, Stark retorted too this with a spinning elbow aimed at the mans head then attempting to put his arms on the mans shoulders, jump-over him and attempt a scissor grip hold with his feet all in one move, This worked, he hoped over the man, grabbing his head in his feet as his master struggled, twisting his legs round he heard a crack as the man was mercy killed before Aids did the job.

Stark walked away from that fight a better man, that was not the hardest fight he had had, that was pretty simple, but the hundreds of hours of training would make his job taking down the presidents secret service if he needed to engage in Hand To Hand that little bit easier...hopefully..

@amaranth_strix: Still, this only puts him on like...Cyclops level H2H...Or slightly below Captain America >_> but my writing can make up for that >_< I hope! XD

@anthony_stark: Well no one character can be everything. My first character here was Lady Liberty and she had access to training from Impero and the ability to train thousands of times faster than a regular human. But I kept her down around a 'skillful human' level of martial arts. Master of a single style, much like a real life person could become with enough hard work. I didn't want to make her too powerful in every area.

Just because the first picture I liked so much...

True, now Stark is slightly above average, that will do! You never know when he may lose a suit! Especially since he only has one!

@anthony_stark: Truth. It makes sense for a guy who fights a lot to get some good training.

#9 Posted by Chevaliere (1007 posts) - - Show Bio

@amaranth_strix: Because martial arts totally would've made her OP.

I mean it. No joke.

@_strigidae_: If I could find the right art I'd come back and whoop you for such disrespect.

#25 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@amaranth_strix: You're not as good at finding art as me. But you couldn't whoop me anyway.

@_strigidae_: I don't believe the art I want even exists. Not much in the realm of powerhouse females; and most of what does exist is very poor quality or fetishistic.

#28 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark: No, not a Stark model. Most likely whatever kind the Court could put together/steal. But I'd been doing research on rail guns, and Shiho's powers and the gun would complement each other well.

#29 Posted by Myrmidon_ (5148 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_: Stark could give you one for some training >_> in return he will give you the best rail-gun money can buy >_> HIS rail-gun >_>

#30 Edited by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@amaranth_strix: Oh. So nothing specific to a character, eh.

I know what you're talking about. I caught hell when searching Tifa. Trauma still haunts me to this very day. There was a LOT of really good stuff, but a LOT of really bad stuff too.

#31 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark: Shiho would never agree to train him, not after learning of his conflicts with Amaranth. She'd more than likely want him dead, or hurting very badly. Probably dead.

#32 Posted by Amaranth (8231 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_: Well I'd prefer blond. Doesn't HAVE to be PG though.

Yeah. I once searched for Liberty art on Deviant Art. Woops. Turns out most of it is really crappy porn.

#33 Posted by Myrmidon_ (5148 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_: Hmmm..Sometimes, to get what you desire you need to put your differences aside >_>

#34 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@amaranth_strix: I'd make a joke, but it'd be inappropriate.

Hm. Perhaps. I don't know as many characters as you do, though.

@anthony_stark: Yeah, she's not really that type of girl. Had it been a small offense, perhaps (even then it'd be a VERY slim chance, or have to be VERY dire circumstances). But you tried to kill Tora-sama, and this is for a rail gun.

#37 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@amaranth_strix: I'll still probably see what, if anything, I can do. But probably after I rack up some vileness, or while I'm racking up vileness.

Remember, Stark done it in a retaliation attack. He had reasons.

#40 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark: There are a number of reasons she wouldn't care at all if he had reasons. They're probably not valid in her mind.

@amaranth_strix: I ain't worried. You know what comes next. ~_^

#41 Posted by Myrmidon_ (5148 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_: Amaranth attacked Stark in his home with multiple people in an assassination attempt >_> He was justified.

#42 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark: And you guys not only repelled the attack, but destroyed his armor and had him injured pretty badly, to the point where he had to retreat and was still feeling/showing the effects. THEN you saw fit to invade the Renegade base and try to attack him again, THEN tried to blow the place up (and possibly succeeded). Her only qualm in the entire matter would be that she was not notified so she could ensure the death sentence was carried out.

#43 Posted by Myrmidon_ (5148 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_:

  • he attacked with the intention to leave and get information for a future attack
  • It was self-defense, he attacked Stark with 4+ troops while stark was alone.
  • Stark + ONE friend attack - Not invade, vengeance attack.
  • Blow the place up in self-defense or I would have died.
#44 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark:

  • If Tora-sama thinks you should be attacked, he probably has a reason. Even while Shiho is away training in other dimensional places, he's around, and she trusts his judgment on the state of world affairs even more than her own.
  • Tora-sama's well-being overrides all other things in terms of importance (apart from Kratesis'; they're about equal). Even yours.
  • That third one actually goes back to a point made in a past conversation she had. Kill your enemies so they can't retaliate.
  • You could have simply teleported away. But that's irrelevant, since by that point the spite was already there, too high.
#45 Posted by Myrmidon_ (5148 posts) - - Show Bio

@_strigidae_:

  • Yeah, but I still was justified in a retaliation :P
  • Retaliation..Stark acted how anybody would react.
  • You just made my argument for me.
  • "Kill your enemies so they can't retaliate"
#46 Posted by Fukuro_Zoku (4775 posts) - - Show Bio

@anthony_stark:

  • Perspectives. It doesn't matter. Tora-sama's well-being overrides yours in terms of importance.
  • How any living person might have reacted. You should have been killed the first time, so you wouldn't be able to.
  • Again, perspectives. Tora-sama should've made sure you were dead in the first place.
  • Perspectives.

There's a song for that, but I've been saving it for a special occasion. Probably for a fight.
