Within the Temple
The biting, fierce winds of the himalaya's was enough to make any explorer immediately give up their journey. It was enough to easily blow people straight down one of the mountains, and send them tumbling into several snow colored boulders. Oliver had to take several breaks before he finally managed to get to the top of one of the mountains. His face was contorted with maddening determination, his face was ashen, and his hands were raw. He wore a navy blue robe, a black scarf around his neck, and a hood over his head. He had a pair of mahogany bracers, and iris gloves.
He was at the base of a rather large, slightly rundown looking temple. Ancient is was, indeed, and Wade had come here, seeking instruction from the masters that resided within it. His ides ached with the effort it took to climb here. If it weren't for his apparent metahuman capabilities, which hadn't fully developed at this point, he probably wouldn't have made it.
He took a deep breath, using every bit of his strength to force himself to his feet. Slowly but surely, he approached the doors. A little bit of warmth spread through his fingertips as he came closer to the door. Raising the hand that wasn't quite as sore, he rapped on the door thrice.
Almost instantaneously, the doors opened. Slightly warily, Oliver entered. He was met with a sudden blast of warmth. At this, he lowered his hood, and took off the scarf from around his neck. His nostrils were met with a rather pleasant scent of... flowers? Something of that sort. The chamber he had entered into was lit by several torches on the walls. So captivated by his surroundings, he hadn't quite registered the swift movements around him. If it hadn't been for his enhanced sensory, he might not have noticed the ninjas at all...
"Hold on, wha --" Something quick had collided with him, roughly knocking him straight on his back. He bared his teeth, which was all he could do to prevent himself from crying out in pain. He heard several blades being drawn around him, and before he knew it, one of them was held directly to his throat. One of them was holding something to his face. It was blowing some sort of gaseous substance into his face. His eyelids became rather heavy, his vision blurred, and before he knew it, everything had gone black...
