Alastor Park- New York (CVnU Location)

Alastor Enterprises is proud to announce the construction of Alastor Park! One of the most luxurious leisure facilities in the world. Sponsored and funded fully by Alastor Frost, the new facility has just recently completed its construction, and is now open to the public, at the heart of New York, United States. Containing many leisure activities like restaurants, theme parks, an observation deck, and many more, visitors are free to explore the spacious park, along with other tourists.

Alastor Park is named after its founder, Alastor Frost, and contains at its center: Alastor Tower, which houses almost any leisure facility you can think of!

The Park

Alastor Park is the main of the whole space, and contains many facilities and activities within it. At night, Alastor Tower and its surrounding facilities begin to glow, becoming one of the most salient objects in New York city.

Alastor Park contains many attractions, like:

• The large lake surrounding it, in which people can hire boats to use in the water.
• Restaurants for both couples and friends alike containing a variety of different foods.
• Surrounding parks with cycling tracks, and benches where people can enjoy the view.
• Light shows every night which illuminate New York,
• Glowing towers and facilities which make the park one of the most salient objects in New York
• Many shops where people can buy souvenirs of all kinds.
• Many more!

Rules

• The Space is public, and is open 24/7
• There is heavy security, which are prepared to defend the area against crime, and prevent littering :)
• No smoking allowed.
• No major destruction to the property, nothing that can't be repaired, unless if it's arranged by me.
• There are security cameras around the premises.
• You can make up many attractions in Alastor Park, you are not limited by my examples. It's a public area, so experiment.
• The area will only grow through your interactions.
• This is located in New York.
• The park is fully owned by Alastor Frost
• Have fun!

Leonard entered the large tourist park, staring in wonder at its construction. His mind contemplated the events that had taken place in Gothic City, his run in with the 'angel,' Just my luck. He thought, looking around at all the tourists who would make easy pickpocket targets. He began to walk the crowd, hands in his pocket, scouting for his next target.

"NO NO NO NO!" Red light painted the interior of the small black space pod, the primate inside panicking, landing on an unknown planet was never a good idea. Frantically his fingers danced over various buttons knobs switches and levers, desperately trying to slow the pod's descent. The alien inside the pod would soon learn that he was actually originally from Earth, and in fact, actually what humans would call a monkey.
The commanders face pressed against the glass, he at least wanted to know what he was dealing with before impact. Tall structures, advanced transportation, the race on the planet must be intelligent.
The pod was seconds from impact, when the systems that had failed before came back online, incredible thrusters fired off, allowing the pod to land gently.
The little primate leaped out of the pod, screaming. "Lay down your weapons, filthy human scum! This planet belongs to me now!" The monkey's expression faded to shock as humans continued about their days, as if alien invasions were common. Some stopped and looked for a few moments, but nobody really cared.
The confused animal then began a waddle through the park, and began to plot his next move.

Shame, I was expecting this place to take off... I guess Comicvine isn't interested in small-scale, small location interactions anymore, like Redemption Park or Loners.

Okay, probably not just that. Since the times, there does seem to be more of a transition toward organizing everything beforehand rather than someone randomly post in a place and someone else randomly reply. Which is kinda sad in some ways, but we'll see.

@antonia: With the exception of big locations like Gothic and New York, posting activity in small location threads has significantly dropped.

@victorgrey: You know a few months back Location threads were amazingly active. That's all declined back into events now...Or not much but yeah at one point the entire first page was full of location interactions.

@victorgrey: That kind of activity has, of late, been concentrated in a few locations at a time, though there's probably a few factors that contribute to it.

@pyrogram: It's a shame I missed it. I remember the same thing happening in my time though.

@victorgrey: I personally loved it, but it only lasted a month.

@pyrogram: When you RP in location threads, you do and say what you want to. When you RP in the organized threads, it's also about keeping appearances, advancing the story, writing professionally rather than for the fun, a lot of the aspects which make RPGing fun can be missing.

@victorgrey: Give or take, that's kinda true depending on the person. I prefer locations myself.

Either one's fine until people start commenting indicating how much attention they're paying.
