As a gust of wind travelled across the city that never sleeps. A warrior like a proud falcon perched himself on the edge of an ancient gargoyle, its souless concrete eyes judging all those sinners that walked below it. The church bell began to pound, as the walls of prayer and worship began to shake, loose stone began to crumble signfying the age of the structure. Even with the sun all but gone, as the moon replaced its sister, accompinied by seemingly infinite ammount of stars, the people of this city were as vibrant as ever. The streets were crowded, people were muttering away, their voices unifying as they tavelled along the waves of the night sky. The booming music from various parties could be captured by his keen senses. The gargoyle's judged even more on nights like this, but resting on them, a man who had sinned more than most.

His long jacket, fluttered in the wind, as it draped itself along the body of the gargoyle. His messy and unkept hair was held in place by a band, stopping it from gettinf in his eyes and obstructing his view. The pants and shoes that covered his legs and feet were normal.....Plain nothing to speculate at. His lean muscular upper body was covered by a shirt that was almost rag like in nature, as his lower face was wrapped in bandages.

The air he breathed in was foreign to his lungs. He was not from this world, but it had seemed fate had brought him here, but its reasons were still unknown to him. The day he came here was a day he should have died in battle against the man who helped birth him. As crouched high up, two ancient and unworldy revolvers gripped tightly in both hands. A helicopter of military background hovered infront of him. Since he arrived here he had been captured and tested on, when he was weak. They planned to use his blood to create soldiers for there governemnt. His upper lip curled, as he bared his teeth like a hungry wolf. He snarled as he lifted the revolver and shot the two men. The copter spiraling to the ground.

Quickly he jumped down, his coat offering resistance against the air. As he landed he was greeted by officers of the law and military men. Each pointing there weapons at him, but his speed was to great, as gunned each one down in cold blood. From the outside he was a criminal, a man who was doing wrong a disturbing the peace. Not wanting to draw anymore attention, he ran down a alley, only to be met with they eyes of someone who could finally put him to rest.

The wind artfully curved its way through the night, singing its song of life.  She looked up at the dark night sky, its infinite gaze reigning down on the city. Time is a tricky thing in the city, you can find yo urself moving at warspeed and yet you can find yourself not moving at all, while everyone around you does.  Everything right now was amazingly hightened for her, time didn't seem to be moving for her. It never did on nights like this. Her keen senses picking up on the events taking place around her, some good and some bad.

She moved carefully, her long legs covering quick distances. The wing lifted and and gently caressed her face framing tresses. She looked etheral.  Her lean body was adorned with plain and fitting pants, boots, and a shirt. A normal onlooker might mistake her for just a normal young lady enjoying the air of the night.  The only thing eluding toher danger was her big glowing gold eyes, often the receiver of a many a scared glance.     She took a turn down a back ally, as the people and civilization appeared to fade to black. She was on a mission, one that presented itself as simple, but she begged to differ.

Her eyes met the gaze of a copter, not to far off free falling down. Well, he didn't exactly make it hard for her to fine him.  Her keen senses easily picked up on the quiet gunshots being fired not to far off, obviously making their marks.  The vibrations easily told her where to go and how to get there. Lightly using her speed she ran silenty down the back alleys , effortlessly getting to where she needed to go. At the end of the dark alley, she was met with a pair of eyes, not entirely sinister not entirely good.  She was a free agent for the government, and other various black street services. She was one of the few dont ask dont tell srvices available.  She was no assassin, not that she couldn't easily be one, but she chose not to. She tracked and brought down the people , got paid and went on her way. She didn't want the story, she didnt want to know whether she was bringing whomever to their death. She just wanted her pay.  When the government approached her, she at first declined, she didnt like the vibe from the mission. but, after thinking she decided to try it, curosity getting the better of her.

She stood still, her blank golden eyes looking at him openly. But, she wasn't exactly not doing anything. The small alley they were in was filling up with arsenic, a toxic element found in theearth. MOst people thought she could only control water, air, earth, and fire but elements are much more than those of the weather. Arsenic knocks people out effortlessly, no she didnt expect him to go out, he was fighting to hard to get away, and arsenic wasn't gonna be the end of him. But it would, hopefully, slow him down and cause him to do something to her, because as of now, the area was almost completely full of it.
