The dark sky rumbled, a metaphor for the battle Felix fought with himself, perhaps. The gods mocking him. He paid no mind.

He flipped through the file again. Time to get ready, he thought soberly. He picked up his coat and shook it off. "One more cat hair on this coat and I swear I'll hurt someone. Do we even have a cat?" He thought aloud. The coat clinked as he pulled it on. He lifted his great wedge blade and took a last look in the mirror.

It took him under an hour to find his target. His tip was good, as always. He ran a hand through his platinum blonde hair and jumped from his perch on the fire escape.

"HEY!" he yelled angrily. "I heard you're informing some very bad people." He gestured with his sword. "I'm sorry. It's nothing personal. Just business." He charged, surprisingly fast, turning into a blur of movement as he swung the blade in an attempt to disembowel the man, trying to end it quickly.

@sideslash: (Sorry, didn't see it. Busy day.)

"All police informants shall remain unidentified for their own protection." One said as he sidestepped the attack, delivering a swift but relatively weak kick to create enough distance to draw his SMG. He fired a few controlled bursts in the direction of his opponent, before drawing his chainsword. His face-screen flickered, and he dashed forward, launching a small missile as a diversion and possible offensive tactic. As he moved forward, he fired his machinegun for the same reason as his missile. His movements were fluid, and he was prepared to evade another strike from his opponent's blade. He readied his chainsword and hoped his opponent was not ready for the same.

@crimson_vigilante: The kick sent him sprawling to the ground. He felt his chest, and was satisfied that he was unharmed. "That's a fair kick." He complimented, bringing his sword into position just in time to block the automatic gunfire.

This guy was strong - and fast! - Felix jumped, diving away from the missile, shielding his body with his sword. As he landed, the guy was already all over him. To improve speed, he dropped his sword, and aimed an expertly precise kick at his foe's knee.

The kick was solid. Metal bent inward, and as One connected with the ground, his knee pressed against it. This could prove troublesome, as it partially locked his leg in position, and metal was stronger than bone. He did, however, realize his opponent was unarmed. "Get me some bots ASAP." He said in to his comm as he dove for his opponent's weapon, firing his SMG with the other. His mind raced as he dove, his thoughts moving much faster than his motions. His face-screen clacked with static. He though he heard the sound of distant airships in the sky, but he knew it was far too early for his support to be here yet.

@crimson_vigilante: DAMN! This guy was a juggernaut. He seemed damn near unstoppable. Felix's mind was cast back to his training, many years ago.

Back then, he had trained evasive maneuvers against the most agile killers in the world, as well as Grenadier. That was the training he'd use now.

Back to the present, and his stance changed completely. His body was crouched like a taut spring, his centre of gravity low. He focused on his opponent. Even this guy would give a hint before he fired. Letting his mind drift, Felix nearly jumped the gun, his reflexes working overtime. Bullets slammed into the ground and walls just behind his minimalist rolling and jumping. He tucked into a flip, rolled to his sword and spun, allowing a few bullets to hit his back. They bounced off with a clang.

He turned, rising with his sword in his hand once again. "Good." he smirked, musing that he would probably do better to turn this fight into a close quarters affair.

His opponent seemed to be quite desperate to put distance between the two of them. Maybe his kick had done some damage? "But not good enough!" He yelled, throwing the large wedge blade like a javelin. He immediately followed after it, staying low, planning a follow up attack when the guy blocked or dodged the sword.
