But I know better than anyone out there that the Cop way doesn't always work. Sometimes to save lives, to do my job, I have to put myself above the law. I have to show the criminals why it's best to either straighten out or stay in jail. Scare them straight, if you will. I have turn fear against those who pray on the fearful.
It's a technique I learned from my father.
When I'm off-duty, I hunt down the rats that spread throughout this City and exterminate them as Apollo. But when I'm on-duty, I do my best to help others like me. The heroes of this City. If I have any leads that I don't have time to follow up on, any task I can't accomplish myself, I call upon you. The Heroes.
