On a night were the moon was out in full bloom, much like a divine rose, revealing its true beauty for the first time. A lone man was walking through the silence that was the night air. Even the soft wind did not disturb the peaceful tranquillity. Stars like cherry blossoms, were a sight to behold, as with the moon they lit up a city of ancient beauty, and glorious battles. Slowly he walked through the city of , wearing normal clothing, in the form of three quarter shorts and a blue t-shirt. Covering them a jet black cloak hung loosely upon his shoulders. A hood draped over his head, as he appeared to blend with the darkness. As he continued walking. He gently brushed his hand along a large wall. The few people those were out, walking amongst the stars. Greeted him with a smile and a cheery disposition. Though they showed a happy façade, he cold see right through to their real emotions.
The elegant night, however peaceful would again not bare witness to a world of peace. Eventually he arrived at the coliseum. The ancient structure, had had been the host of many ancient battles, and he was no stranger to such a place. He had once battled here against the immortal Cassie Strong. Again he walked its sandy floor. Feeling the voices that had once echoed around during battles, that caused pain, anger, sorrow and above all else glory.
Acer knew he was heading into a battle, and he knew his opponent, yet he did not know him. He had heard his name, and heard stories of his amazing life. Once serving as a member of the team Acer now proudly served. Though he knew such minor things, he did not know what drove Hawk and the full extent of his abilities. Removing his hood, his aqua eyes glanced to the starlight sky, as the moon reflected upon meeting them. Gently breathing he felt nervous. A nerve that was not new and one he had found was difficult to control. Running a hand through his wavy hair, he calmed himself. This was not his first battle and it was not his first tournament. He had entered two; both times he succeeded in reaching round two, only to fall at that particular hurdle. Acer stood, his eyes closed, as he began to meditate, waiting for the arrival of Hawk.
