@Dark Noldor: I read your virtue and vice review. Aside from a few typos and maybe giving away a little too much plot, you gave a pretty fair review. You acknowledged everything you loved about it, representing it very thoroughly, but also mentioned its flaws. Not bad.
I cant get my last one. I had 9 and then i posted my Dead Avengers review and now i have 5 recommended out of 8....that means 3 people gave a thumbs down right?? so why didnt it count as my last one???

Oooh, I can use the Featured Critic thing, and 2 more positive recommendations for my reviews (Respected Critic), as well as some thumbs down for my reviews as well (Review of Controversy).
@MrFantastic: You have two reviews. One's incredibly short & the other is bulked out by a full-page scan (why are people using the Full-page scans in reviews? ). Try to give a bit more detail without relying on a giant image to bulk up your review. Write about what you think about the story-telling, script, plot, art, characterisation... There's so much you can cover (including the cover!) :)
Oh may I humbly request some positive recommendations for this review please? i relied on friends to get negative already lol If you hate Uncanny X-Men you might want to stay clear, oh wait, I gave it one star you should encourage my review, unless you actually read it, then you might get confuddled.

@SC: A Featured Review sits on the bottom of the CV front page. Therefore, it's a highlighted Review :) Only a Moderator (or Staff) can choose to 'feature' something. However, it does still have to be worthy to feature on the front page (in other words, any old review wont do... make it the best review that you can :) After all, even I still don't have a Featured review :)

So I am guessing my Uncanny X-Men #500 review might be a bit to risqué so to speak, but dammit I just can't conform like all the other cool kids. I need to express my thoughts though the method of review in such a way it makes people question my sanity! >.>
Oh, but you just started recently reviewing too didn't you? I was surprised to see Legacy #244 was your first review, plus you should just totally Feature one of your reviews, under the reasoning of most of us who post in the Age of X threads demanding it!!
I can't speak for the other mods, but I know I often forget about the Reviews. To my own shame, to be honest! Especially as it's a chance for everyone to shine with the possibility of having a Featured review.

I've been holding back a rant about Reviews, lately. Personally, I don't like Reviews that are bulked up with Large formatted full-page scans. A few pictures here or there to help emphasise what you're talking makes sense... but to replace words with pages from the actual comic isn't reviewing. It's a worrying growing trend, but it just seems silly to use the thing that's being reviewed as the actual review. So I don't know what the others look for in a good Review, but personally I won't 'Feature' a Review if there's more space dedicated to images instead of text.

Oh, yeah I totally agree with you about scans, well, I might be guilty, I put two scans in a review, but they are usually just small panels I have blown up in order to present a trope of some sort, but I have seen some that remind me of a VS thread which would rely on excessive scans even more.
I really wish there was a forum for Reviews, since I didn't even know about them, until a poster I follow told me to check there's out and a lot of reviews tend to fall rather fast without anyone getting a chance to read them unless you randomly sift though peoples profiles and then reviews.

Since someone disagreed with one of my reviews, could 2 more people give me a thumbs-down please. I need my Review of Controvery (I'm just sad that it's on my Review of Age of X Alpha which I really passionately loved).
@lazystudent: I tell you what, if you write some new Reviews I'll have a look for you. I've neglected the Reviews for too long it's time I made up for it.
