#1 for Arachnophobia was completely ridiculous. The Spider-Man movies are based on Marvel continuity, NOT Ultimate Marvel. I really don't think the answer is valid. I'd rather see the symbiote as a separate enemy than this silly trick.

I just don't think there's a big Quest community. I mean, CV couldn't even get 600 for the last set.

I don't think that's the problem. Even if they didn't know about Hobgoblin, they could always ask for some help or a hint. Like me, I didn't know about it but people here helped me and I found it.
@aztek the lost: My husband and I were beating our heads against various articles of furniture trying to figure this out, and my 12 year old daughter says "Maybe Hobgoblin?"
We both said "He wasn't in the movies!" but hubby tried it anyway.
@Neverpraying: Even 500 was a stretch. Go and read the thread for that quest set.....people used alternate accounts to get to 500. It really does beg the question of why it was raised it to 1,000.....I mean, GiantBomb could handle 2,000 but that's GB.

I agree that 1,000 are a lot. It should be less. Although I think that the previous quest with the 600 could be done. We had 2 days left and 127 left. It could be done.

that makes me sad...i love doing quests!! its the best part!! i was so excited when i got on the other day and saw that there was a new one!!

Sort of sucks, just saw it is half way and I think it is harder for people to get done on the weekend with plans. Maybe if there was a link to the forum where people can ask for help?
I'm fairly new at the quests as I haven't been around for a while, but was #493 to finish. I think I had more trouble figuring out the St. Paddy section's clue than any of the others. I tore right through the Cameo King section and stumbled across the answer to Old School while rooting around for the St. Paddy solutions. I also have beef with the Hobgoblin answer in the Arachnophobia section - in the movie Norman Osborn was the Green Goblin, and Harry was listed as "New Goblin". Other than that, it was a lot of fun digging for the answers!
No clue what St. Paddy (I tried the most famous masked non-power's movies) or Old School is...could use some hints. Arachnophobia I have all but #1. For Cameo King, just run through all the '00s Marvel movies and you'll probably get all but one of them. The first (which you won't get that way) stars Lou Ferringo;)

As a community, we fail yet again... Maybe the guys who set up the quests are expecting too much from us? Why not lower it to 500 people, or extend it to two weeks? 1000 users in a week is too much for the traffic of this site, I guess. In GiantBomb, quests like this one are done in a matter of hours, with much higher requirements.
Besides, you've got to admit that some quests are very misleading and frustrating...
