First Image of David Tennant as Purple Man Leaked for AKA Jessica Jones

Daredevil released recently on Netflix to overall applause and acclaim and now fans who blazed through the first season are looking towards Marvel and Netflix's next offering: Jessica Jones.

The show isn't releasing until December of this year, but an Instagram user koray_ersin snapped a picture of David Tennant as Kilgrave AKA Purple Man. Check out the image below.

Lots of people were wondering how this character was going to work in the more realistic setting that Daredevil posed in the first season, since they both take place in the same universe. Instead of having a purple face and body, he just wears a bunch of purple clothes. What do you think of the outfit?

I think the most likely outcome from this image is that this is either Kilgrave pre-powered and turns purple later on in the show Or they are gonna keep it sorta realistic and not give him the purple skin but will give him the mind control powers.

Going to be tough living up to the hype that Daredevil has placed on all of the Netflix series.

@morioh_jo98: I'm assuming realistic considering in Daredevil Owlsley has no powers (and is never called the Owl), Fisk never is called "Kingpin" and Melvin Potter didn't get his Gladiator suit or his name either. These shows seem to want to downplay the comic book elements as much as possible.

It's ok Tennant is white.

In this more realistic world, he will probably just turn purple every time he uses his powers. He can easily blend in that way, instead of being a purple dude walking down a street.

I have a feeling this is just him before he gets the powers. That or he is commanding everyone to see him with normal skin

Seeing the other leaps Marvel has taken with this universe, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this is pre-transformation Killgrave, not Purple Man proper. I mean, we got 12 episodes without Daredevil in costume. Marvel is teaching me some patience.

I love people who snap to a negative judgement based on a Twitter or Instagram Pic - There is no context, or understanding to the picture other than he has purple pants.

We should all be giddy over the fact that our comic books are coming to the Big Screen/TV - Regardless of which brand they came from.

He better turn purple at some point and time. Maybe he has tech to hide his apperance or maybe he can turn back and forth. That purple face is pretty Iconic. Also he better do horrible sexual things to Jessica Jones(sorry Jessica).
