The Invincibly Super Massive Comic Book Podcast of Stuff: Episode 42
@g_man i enjoy these, will there be a Comic Vine Podcast as well this week. I missed it last week ;(
Oops: Be sure to ask questions on the ASK VIDEO THREAD or on Twitter: @GManFromHeckand use the hash tag #AskGMan.
@thefirstlantern: I think/hope so. There wasn't one last week because I was at PAX.
@g_man: Hopefully! My weekend was not the same without it.
Got exited. thought the guess was harrison ford.. hahahaha
same! haha that would have been epic!
@g_man: I honestly think it's time to abandon the asking questions from twitter. Because it's such a mess with the questions disappearing and reappearing out of nowhere. What you said about working in a comic book store is not always true. Mainly, the comic book owners don't want to hire people who are comic book readers because some see it as a competition of who knows more and they don't want to go through that. So, they always would like to hire someone who knows nothing. I'm saying this because I have experienced many times and have failed many times because they say "I know too much". I'm not saying all comic book stores do this. But the ones I applied to did.

That doesn't make any sense. I'm not attacking you, but why the hell would you NOT want someone knowledgeable? If I walk in and ask about a comic, and you don't know anything, I would walk out. I go to a comic store FOR their expertise.
All the comic stores I've applied to simply can't afford more staff, because comic book stores are a dying thing/ can't support a robust group of people.
@bunkerbuster05: That's the same thing I was asking myself when the interviewer told me that. It doesn't make any sense. I even did ask the interviewer and he said he doesn't want someone who knows more than him. So, some just don't want someone who's more knowledgeable. They sometimes just hire people to look pretty. Also, why would this be attacking me, I'm not the comic book owner? lol

Extreme example (assuming you're Leonard; and you've watched TBBT):
Penny vs Sheldon? Who would you hire for this job?
@iceslick: I may turn it to my Tumblr along with the forums.
