I'm convinced that Fox Studios is just F-ing with Marvel Studios with this Fantastic Four movie at this point..... I can see Fox teasing with "I'm touching yo stuff! I'm touching yo stuff! I'm touching yo stuff" to Marvel.......
@judasnixon: They're basically ruining it, so when it does go back to Marvel people will think they suck, even if Marvel delivers us a good FF film (which we know they would).

@judasnixon: That's basically what Fox is doing. Heck Quicksilver wasn't originally in DOFP, it was originally Juggernaut, but when they found out Disney was using him, they decided to write him into the film at the last minute. So Fox basically is touching Marvels stuff.

@judasnixon: Heck if this film is good, could we really consider it a Fantastic Four film? not only has it made enormous changes to the entire mythos, but the team won't even be called the Fantastic Four in the film. Heck every detail I've gotten about this film sounds likethe exact opposite of the FF.
Just clicked play, so I don't have too much to comment on yet other than to say that once again Tony has done a fantastic job with his super fast "pho'shopin'. Mat needs to have that hair, It fits him perfectly (in the fact that it doesn't fit him at all). Love it.
Suicide Squad is mostly c listers who would never be the main villains in their own movies. You dont need other films to set up Rick Flagg, King Shark, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, etc. As for Joker, I imagine he could be the SS's target or a wildcard like in Assault on Arkham, which was awesome. I can imagine something similar with Lex.
And what would be so weird about WW as a prequel? First Class anyone?
To expand on my question, it was announced that Kanan is getting an ongoing set around the time of Order 66, so they're obviously not totally averse to branching out but that's still tying in (somewhat) to Rebels. I'd be interested to see where else they go.
Also, Marvel.com released a few unlettered pages from Kieron Gillen and Salvador Larocca's Darth Vader series. They look pretty sweet. Apparently it's double shipping in February and the issues are going to be oversized so they're a little more expensive than a regular issue but hopefully they'll be worth it.

I can relate, I've been on the last chapter of the book "Incectopedia" for 6 months now, mainly because when I read that last page, I can't say I'm still reading it.
Watching Gotham just makes me want the show that Kevin Smith and Paul Dini came up with on episode 51 of Fat Man on Batman. It was about a teenage Bruce Wayne going to boarding school, roommate with a young Harvey Dent going around solving crimes. Man, that would been such a better show.

Would it have just as many people saying it sucks because it's not exactly what they wanted? Definitely! I can hear it already, "Hardy Boys rip off!", "Why's this person in it and that person isn't?", "Why's this person so old and that person so young?"... It's like an inescapable future paradox. Even if you could change the past you'd end up at the same point in the future. 12 Monkeys style!!!! :o
@captainmarvel4ever: I didn't like the charicterization, I was more of a fan of the way gail simone wrote her and I can't relate to this version of the chaicter at all.
@benk111: Funny I kinda felt the opposite, I didn't like her characterization in Simone's run, and I feel like this tone resonates more with me. Of course that's just me though.
