Check Out These Phil Noto Variant Covers for February 2015

During New York Comic Con, Marvel announced that the amazing Phil Noto would be doing 20 variant covers for the month of February 2015. If you've seen his art on his Tumblr or in our weekly Awesome Art Picks, you know he, on occasion, depicts the characters in various time periods in his "retro-candid 'photo' sketches."

Marvel was kind enough to share three of variants that haven't been seen yet.

The Guardians one is obviously the greatest.

wow i love Noto art... one of the main reasons ive been digging the current Black Widow series so much. def planning on picking some of these up for sure.

I didn't think it was possible to say this, but that Guardians cover makes Star Lord look douchier than Chris Pratt in GotG.

Noto has some of the best art I've seen.

Check Tumblr. I think all of the other ones have been shown there in at least some form. You should be able to see them even without an account.

@akindoodle: When he did the last arc in Uncanny X-Force, I remember a lot of people saying they didn't like his art.

Noto should always do all the MArvel covers!!!

As in all his covers and faces would look alike or identical.

Love the Hulk and GotG covers.

One day, somehow, in a gallery far, far away, I will own an original Phil Noto.

Rocket Raccoon's cover is by far my favorite.

I'm gonna say it.... I don't like Phil Noto's art (no offense Mr. Noto) all the faces look exactly the same, and a little too real, they seem out of place.

I think I need a time out.

My first thought seeing that Daredevil cover was "BITCH!".

I am so bitter.

I'll just envision it to be who that is supposed to be, that's all. Yes. Yes, that'll work. I feel better already...

Matt's wearing the same outfit he wore in Noto's previous drawing with Elektra and that woman is wearing the same Greek key design on her skirt that Elektra is wearing.

Now I'm just sad. Clearly that's an ode to the What If? issue between Matt and Elektra. Plus, it's coming out in February. Which is the month of Elektra's last issue for her run. That contains that awful holiday or whatever called Valentine's Day...
