Zoom or Carnage who is the better villan and why ?

Carnage is my personal favorite but i do believe Zoom is more of an influence on Flash

Zoom. The greater the threat, the greater the hero.

Zoom believes that only by surviving tragedy does one become stronger. And by causing tragedy in the Flash's life will in turn make the Flash a better hero.

@legacy6364: that doesn't make any sense and what if it has the opposite effect and make you crazy ?

Zoom's logic is flawed. And that is what makes him so interesting in my opinion.

Carnage is a god awful villain, there is nothing to him, so no matter who you picked (unless it was someone equally shallow) the other guy wins.

Carnage is awesome, but his "motives" are pretty forced.

@captainmarvel4ever: i always think they try to make him crazy like the joker.

@cloakx14: With the Joker there is always a proper methodical nature to make his character work, but with Carnage it's what you see is what you get. I will admit that Carnage can be used in some good ways, but overall it's hard to even call him a real villain (or even a character) he's really just a threat, kinda similar to Doomsday (although most writers have actually found very good ways of using Doomsday and modeling stories around him).

@captainmarvel4ever: yeah, the symbiotes are the most dangerous thing on earth considered by Shield.

I honestly like both, for different reasons.

I think they add something different to the story when they get introduced, what with Zooms' twisted sense of "helping his friend," and the fact that Carnage just wants to cause his namesake.

I mean, I enjoy something different most times. Apparently having a shallow motive makes you a bad character, but I think we all need a bad guy who is just that. Bad. I think it helps affirm a hero, but that's me.

Zoom because he has a bigger impact on Flash's life while Carnage IS awesome but doesn't have that big of an impact on Spiderman's life (other than killing Gwen in the Ultimate universe).

Zoom. He's a sick twisted bastard but he's interesting. I don't find Carnage interesting at all, he pretty much just loves killing people, whereas Zoom has motivation. Great, twisted, motiivations.

I like carnages look more and zooms speech annoys me but character wise zoom wins.
