This a thread where we can all share our plans for the inevitable apocalypse. Plans may not include 'being tasty' And I request that you do not sell out our fellow viners to the zombies once they arrive
Zombie Apocalypse plan thread
@sacredweapons: beat me to it
You're barricaded in your home because of this and the zombies are getting through. Now what?
@swordmasterd: Rocket ship in the basement clearly.
I live in a huge city, so there isn't much hope. Board up house and get any weapons I can get a hold of. Stock up on food and water. Build barricades that won't have much use. Ration food and water. Protect family and friends in house for as long as I can. I give us 1 month of survival if we're lucky. Bye bye cruel world.
move to a desserted island then nuke the entire world
Then what will you drink. You just poisoned the water supply
@swordmasterd: I would find an island with a natrual water supply I woulr also bring a long of water bottles and soda

Nah i think the Zombies will just run in the treadmills forever trying to get into his home
@_cain_:Zombies have no alignment
@detrolord: well played
My plan involves teaming up with my friends and finding a safe but large shop until we can identify the safe zone the government set up
@sophia89: The zombies are kryptonian, because I really just need a way for you to die. Nothing personal just business
Extensive planning isn't prudent in my opinion, it's impossible to accurately assess exactly what will happen in the zombie apocalypse, they may not function and behave like regular zombies in fiction, they could be similar to Rage infected or even akin to Necromorphs.
The optimal solution is to always be on alert, have a first aid kit, keep as much food, water and weapons in your home, ensure that you have a solid vehicle, keep calm and be a badass.

That... Is actually quiet legit
I'd stock up on food, basic living supplies, and weapons, then take off towards the lake near where I live ( with several friends and family ). We'd steal a boat and drive it to one of the small islands and camp out there. We'd fish for food, and boil water to drink once we ran out of the supplies we brung.
Because normal zombies don't swim, they wouldn't be a threat. We'd let any humans that pass by come stay with us and hope they appreciate our hospitality. Eventully me and my group would hopefully create some kind of farm, and start expanding to the other islands. From then on we'd be virtually fine. We'd widdle down the zombies on shore until it was safe enough to scavenge the land for more survivors, food, etc.
Head to Mt Buller, which is a good strategic location for high altitude and winter weather, with friends and family, hopefully find weapons and ways to keep warm in the winter, last as long as possible.

a ladder would be better.
going up your attic would be good too :P
this is the worst place to be ever -_- you'll be trap and never gets out unless your using Rendecker Plan
Lure them up a flight of stairs with a portion of that flight of stairs rectangular stairs with a blockade set up somewhere near the top. The kind of stairs are important. You must be able to see people on a floor below you with nothing but air between the two flights. This allows for aiming weapons past the blockade without compromising it. With a group of people appropriately armed sitting behind the blockade, but still able to fire on the zombies on the levels below, you have an effective trap that you can use repeatedly. This plan can be modified, and the luring can be repeated in order to wipe out zombies in a given area. I don't want to send a person out to lure zombies into the trap, so I'm still unsure of how to go about that.

This mostly.
Common survival skills should apply in any situation so practicing them and being knowledgeable in as many different areas as possible will always increase your odds of survival.

what is a Rendecker plan?
also are talking about going up a ladder or attic?
Sry misspelled actually the Tree House its the worst camp you'll ever get if your surrounded you'll just die in starvation
I've posted this on two previous zombie threads, so might as well post again.
Eh, this is the ultimate zombie weapon. :P
@dboyrules2011: Is my humor grating on you?
@wildvine: Hehe. I think it is. ^_^
I prefer bladed weapons, like machete's. Light and effective.
I won't use guns to kill zombies, waste of bullets, I'd use them to protect my supplies, and perhaps steal some if I get desperate. I have a spear ready, which will allow me to stab the head at a distance to help keep them away etc... I'll also probably lay low for a month or two, wait for the worst of the rioting and looting to pass so I can come out all stocked on weaponry and be able to start my own empire.
@dboyrules2011: Are you suggesting Bruce Campbell couldn't be a suave badass with a cheese grater?
; )
@wildvine: What if I said Bruce Campbell is overrated? :O I have no problems with a cheese grater, but I still think a chainsaw is the ultimate zombie weapon. :D

Chainsaw is too loud you'll attract the zombie horde and human bandits
@detrolord: You're probably right.... a sledge hammer would work then.
@dboyrules2011: Jokes aside, a crowbar is a better melee weapon. Its a spear, its a club, and its decently balanced.
Ok my real plan except for Twinkies
Mobile Fortress Home
Food Supplies
- Canned Foods
- Twinkies(100 years expiration)
- Cup Noodles
Weapons/Gear
- Fire Axe for Building(if i find it somewhere)
- 40 cal top of my bus (if i find it somewhere)
- 12g Shotgun against Bandits/last resort(i got one)
- 9mm pistol against Bandits/last resort (i got one)
- My 2 Katana(i got one)
- 2 Machetes(i got one)
- 1 Combat Knife(i got one)
- Crossbow/Bow(if i find it somewhere)
@detrolord: You're probably right.... a sledge hammer would work then.
2 Heavy something light and easy to use and also around mid range or long range weapon
Bow and Crossbow are ultimate Long Range weapon
Mid Range are anything you came up with spears are good
Short Range must only be use in last resort when you are trap somewhere or its the only weapon you got
@wildvine: You're right about that. A bat is good too.
