Seeing the people you watch on TV and in movies in real life is very surreal! I've encountered two celebrities... Steven Tyler and Robert Irvine (I know he's a popular chef only on the Food Network channel but still... he's a food celebrity)! I was at the Miami Boat Show this past Spring and parking is a bitch to find there so we went to some hotel's parking garage to park our truck and once we got out I see Steven Tyler, two body guards and some camera people following him, pass right by me... He said "Nice hair." and kept walking. The next day I noticed all of these Food Network signs all over the place (I guess there was a Food Network event or something) anyways it was night and we were walking through the streets trying to find someplace to eat and Robert Irvine passed right by us very quickly and I stopped him and said "Hey I love your show!" and he shook my hand and kept walking. He was also very short. Not the most coolest encounters but still good ones! Have any of you guys actually seen, met, or passed by any celebrities!?

@papad1992: No freakin' clue. Apparently the idiots running the school thought it'd make it a 'big event' or something like that.
It's like when the school invites guest speakers to your class and they have no correlation to the class or even to anything!! I had this one guy come into my Government class during my senior year and talk about how different colors correspond with different emotions and how certain objects like tissues are referred to as their generic name Kleenex!
The guy who wrote A Child Called It ate lunch with me and my dean Freshman Year. I got in trouble for sneaking off campus so I was forced to eat lunch with the dean and the author dude was there because he had spent the entire day talking in assemblies. It was odd...
about 10 years ago I was working at the Pittsburgh Comic Con and was at one of the penthouse parties after the con and I got to play poker with Lou Ferrigno
Jeremy Lamb of the UCONN huskies! He recently got signed to the Houston Rockets though. I saw him at a mall and got a picture with him
I actually saw Drake again at STC today, but I don't approach them randomly in public unless I just randomly run into them (like Pete Rock in a downtown vinyl records place a year ago). I was with homies and it looked like a crowd was about to march him after he was ordering some food, lol.
I met John Cena, Booker T, Kurt Angle, JBL, Eddie Guerrero (R.I.P.) and most of the Smackdown roster several years ago at Hartsfield-Atlanta Airport several years ago. Most of them seemed very mellowed out.
I feel like I posted in a similar thread like this, but here goes. I was able to meet Jerry Robinson last year and I also met James Arnold Taylor and Tom Kane at Celebration V (they're the voice actors for Obi-Wan and Yoda from the cgi Clone Wars series, respectively). About 200 of us were camped out about 12 hours before the main event with Jon Stewart and Lucas and they came out, saw us camped out, and chilled out with us for a bit. They signed our passes and did some voice acting too, which was awesome! They really made those few days tons of fun.

That sounds nice...
@Queso6p4: Visited our Middle School during Election season, we were all forced out in the freezing cold to see her. No touching her aloud, and there was press and Body guards everywhere. And it was freezing.

@TheCannon: Was he cool with you? Didn't he die some years ago? I'm not sure.
It was an autograph signing at a house show, so yes, he was cool. And no, he's still alive and amazing in the ring. You're probably thinking of Eddie Gurerro or someone with a drug problem.
