Sorry, I saw the pics and automatically assumed it was specifically for past time military leaders/strategists of one's country. I'll come back to this once I make up my mind.

When I think of England I always think of Queen Vic, but you could always go Churchhill if you want to go the GB route

@spiderbat87:  The term leader isnt specific to head of state man. If you meant it to be, perhaps you should specify so.

For the Philippines:
I would have said Rizal but he was more of an inspiration/martyr than a leader. Spiritual leader maybe.

@spiderbat87:  also Boudica was technically a head of state since there was no offical leader at the point and she was the leader of the army of the various tribes.

@spiderbat87: Andres Bonifacio. Leader/Founder of the KKK (not that KKK) meaning Kataas-taasang Kagalang-galangang katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (translating to:
Supreme and Venerable Society of the Children of the Nation). The biggest and most successful revolutionary group of the Philippines against the Spanish regime. Unfortunately, he was executed by members of the same group due to political disputes.

JFK was a good man but i dont think he was actually given a chance to really do anything.
I guess the missile crisis might count but ehh.. *shoulder Shrug*

Abraham Lincoln made his choices solely for political reasons which happen to be a good thing for black americans.
George Washington also made choices for personal selfish reason which benefited everyone else.. and personally he is garbage to me as a human being...

there are some very horrible things that american historical people did in their personal lives as well as political and whatnot.. these arent men to be looked up to nor idolized and white wash their dirty lil secrets

FDR is the exception to the rule.

JFK wasn't around long enough as leader to be called "Great"

Lincoln was simply doing what it took to win a war, he was not necessarily great.

ans Washington is not someone to be admired, He was far from a great leader, he was actually a really twisted individual when you look at his rather shady past.

America has lacked any truly great leaders outside of FDR and maybe Clinton. The rest are either terrible or average at best.
