You know what really f*cking sucks?

When your girlfriend dumps you for best friend, tells your best friend that you said horrible things about him, watches as your best friend essentially tells you to piss off for life, and then doesn't leave you alone about it. That's what really f*cking sucks. Hooray for f*cking me.

Unfortunately things like this happen all too often. I divorced my wife after she admitted to cheating on me. It had been going on for 6 years with one of my best friends. After the divorce she showed some class by banging a few more of my friends. Fast forward 9 years and she's been married twice since we split, has 7 kids by a handful of guys and is barely keeping the bills paid. While I have custody of our son and a stable relationship with a honest girl. Trust me, things have a way of working out.

@gumflabica: Just think about it like this: if she's enough of a b**** to do that, do you really even want her back? Same goes for your "friend". She'll probably just end up doing something similar to him down the road.

In all the bad, good can happen. These people showed their true colors and realized you are better off without them. You are better off finding out now what wretches these people are insteading of years into the future and they screw you over even worse.

And remember that bad times are just times that are bad. It can always get better.

She's the bitch, but my best friend. She cheated, and lied, and twisted my friends thoughts. I know it's partially his fault, but that's like a retard getting put on death row because a genius told them to kill somebody.

Yeah if you want to think of it in simple terms like that (dabee) than logically someone has to have it worse than anybody. I think he's just saying that's a reason to not get too upset about it though.

@dabee: When I was literally suicidal and looking for a reason to go on, people fed me platitudes about how I had it good, how others had it worse, and how I should focus on the positive. It didn't help at all. Then they locked me up and had me lie down in a room that wasn't even padded and I did nothing for fun and they forced me to eat meat. This lasted for weeks.

@tifalockhart: Okay, yeah. You definitely missed my point. That's not something I would have told someone in your situation. Being locked up and forced to eat for weeks is a real problem. Being dumped by a girlfriend is something that happens and passes. It's a bummer, but it could be worse. You had an actual problem, not just something that was a bummer. Yeah, I see why you thought I was spouting BS.

If he hooked up with your ex right after you broke up he's not your friend. I'm not one to say a friend can never date your ex but if she dumped you for him that means he consciously sought her out while you were with her which means your buddy was a dick any way and your better off without him.

I once had an ex go after my best friend after i dumped her for cheating on me but he was a true friend and told the b**ch to kick rocks. Not trying to make the OP sad just saying your best friend there doesn't quallify for the position.
