You Catch Your Woman Cheating On You. How Do You React?

Using your current or most recent girl/boy friend as a reference. You're at the mall on the upper level. On the lower level you see your significant other making out with someone else. How do you handle these scenarios?

1) Do you attack your significant other?

2) Do you attack the other person?

3) You two have been having hard times lately. But they want to work things out. Do you try?

4) Your significant other has been saying for months that things are not the same sexually between you two. But you've been busy and had other things on your mind. They say that is the only reason they cheated. Do you try to work things out?

meh i been down this road before and believe me its best to just not do anything because it all comes around in the end since most likely she would end up knocked up by some 5 dudes that turn out to be dead beats and split

I don't know. I've never been in this situation and I hope I never will. But, I imagine a righteous middle finger and a well placed right hook will do the trick.

I would solidly sucker punch the guy in the face, turn around break up with her and walk out.

Sometimes the reaction you think you would have ends up to different to the real thing.I think I would get really frustrated and probably punch or try to beat up the guy she's with but it can be something different as well.But I have short temper so I'm 100% sure that I would react viciously.

Hell no, I am out of there. My last relationship kind of went down like that, I thought that I would totally flip out if they cheated on me and react with all out fury, but really, it just made me incredibly sad more than anything. Messed me up pretty bad. I tried to make things work after that, but the fact of their infidelity never went away, I couldn't deal with it. It was over, the relationship could never be the same again. Couldn't shake the fear they might do it again.

As for the last part, I think blaming your partner for your infidelity is a real disgusting move, and I would ditch them right there. Bad enough to do it, but to then put the blame on you is unforgivable and adds insult to injury. If the sex isn't the same, you talk about it, you work on it together, and if things don't pan out, you go your separate ways if you still aren't happy together.

I'd beat the sh*t out of the guy she is with.

Is it the right thing to do? Probably not, but I don't care.

It doesnt matter what kind of relationship it was and how terrible you were, you -dont- cheat. If you are so miserable with your current spouse then you break up with him/her, -then- you can do things with another person.

There really is no way around that in my opinion, a cheater can never again be trusted and even if you understand the reasoning somehow - its not gonna be a healthy relationship again because you know that person would screw you over in a tight spot, its proven.

i wouldn't hit her. I breakup with her & find a better woman.

I am a surprisingly not-jealous person, actually. I think I'd try to understand where this came from and react more with sorrow than rage, depending on how the relationship had been going. Unlike a lot of people I've been that "other person" and contrary to popular belief it's a horrible position to be in. The passion and love is balanced with shame and guilt, which leads to a very confusing and miserable time.

If we lived together i would toss all of her belongings out of the house

I would probably scream at both of them a lot. I would probably told them to leave my sight or I would pack my things and go away.

Simply never speak to her again. I don't care how she tries to justify it I don't have to stand for that kind of betrayal.

Um, I hate to break it to you, but one cannot get pregnant with the offspring of 5 individuals as a collective entity. That's not how things work.

Most likely I'd break down in some kind of anger/anxiety attack combo and unleash this massive rant upon them, tell them off and never look back. And forget making it work, that's never worked for me at all.

I'd blow up the universe.

i might just stand there for a while looking really dumb trying to understand what is happening (never happened to me, so i do not know how to deal with it, and might never will.)

seriously, best way to deal with it is to say: damn, only i can do that! and try to work 'i date you because i feel sorry for you' into it, and say you never took it seriously, and admit to dating other girls that make her look like a dump

Walk away in disgust before I do something I regret. Then proceed to cut all ties with them some things are just not worth it how ever you are.
