Would you watch DBZ if it had a new series?

With DBZ still the most popular anime out there.

And the new movie coming out in 2013.

And the fact that other old anime like Sailor Moon is getting a new series.

So it looks like there could be a new series sometime in the future. However would it be good or not?

I would like to see that happen, but I'm afraid it might flop, so I'm kind of neutral. If they can pull it off with a good plot/storyline, then why not?

I'd watch it.... as long as the coloring and voice actors were better than the ones used in DBZ Kai.

I don't see how they will be able to top themselves right now. Maybe if they adapt the Dragonball Online in some way...

If it's in high quality and the original cast is in it then sure why not.

If he decides to do it,I hope he databooks(character designs,sagas,powerlevels) it first as he's going along so we'll know how long it presumably might be.

Sure, but would like it if they also focus on the humans too. Like Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, instead of just the saiyans...it always bothered me that they have training rooms and the like to increase their power but they never used any of it.

I would definitely check it but I don't know if I would watch the entire series. Don't know if DBZ would still appeal to me like it did when I was a kid.

It depends.

Remake of DB or DBZ: You know, what Kai tried to do but failed because it was cancelled before it got to Buu (and the animation from all those other animation teams together looked choppy), and FMAB succeeded in. I would watch a totally redone remake of DB and Z, if it was all new animation like FMAB and it was 100% accurate to the manga. (None of this Ginyu frog shit).

New sequel Series: Maybe, it depends. If Toriyama or Ooishi aren't on the project, then no, I probably won't. Maybe, but likely no. If Toriyama and/or Ooishi are on it, then I will definitely give it a shot.

I would love a show that goes more in death into the mythology of the series, like Freeza's family, or the Saiyans. Hell, I'd love to see the other Cyborgs Gero created.

After watching every episode of Dragon Ball a few weeks ago with a friend who had not seen them. I'd like it to be more adventurous like Dragon Ball. A combination of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.

And for the love of the maker, do something for the human fighters so they can jump up a few gears. I liked Yamcha, no loved the beginning of Dragon Ball Yamcha. I'd just like to see tales of other characters, not just the Saiyans. Maybe a mini adventure with Bulma, Olong, Puar, Yamcha, Master Roshi and a few of the other character we hardly see.

Big battles don't do anything for me no more, I know what's going to happen. Goku saves the day. Do something different.

I'd like Dragon Ball to be more plot driven rather than actiony... since all the kids who watched it growing up are... grown up, it's nice to see more details in the alien and saiyan cultures as well as character development. I love Goku and all but I'm tired of people saying he's dumb as a sack of bricks! Witty banter, less shouting time and cameo appearances or mentions from the original series.

Yes I would watch it if it is good. If not then no. I would like to see characters power up beyond what we have seen and not just the Saiyans but the human characters too. I want to see others characters like Pikkon, Super 17, King Cold at full power, Bardok on the level of a Super Sayian and as powerful as Goku if not then more, Future Gohan, Broly as the Main the villain and the most powerful character villain in DBZ, but please make him a better fighter than he was in the movies. I mean come on he's The Legendary Saiyan for crying out loud. If there a Super Sayian four then make him completely different and make sure he doesn't act like a animal characteristics. Nova, Vegeta almost as powerful as Goku, but just a step behind, Pikkon on the same level as Goku, Piccolo with just a step behind Vegeta, King Vegeta, Captain Ginryu, but leave the frog out of it, just make him a good guy after that. Other Namekians almost being on the level of Piccolo. Gogeta, Vegito, both be able to go Super Sayian four and beyond that level. Kid buu, Uub,Majin buu, and Cooler. Also let No character be dumb at all. That it for now.

So sick of the battles that ran for 50 episodes more than they should.

1. Dragonball Online is a piece of crap. I've played it. It's horrible. It's also almost impossible to understand, lol, but that doesn't change the fact that what I did play was horrible. And I played for several hours and explored at least three separate areas in the game. It's just not worth mentioning.

2. If they made a new one, I'd support it if they had good voice actors (maybe not the originals, but good voice actors anyway (personally I'd love to see a great, but new, Goku voice, and Vegeta voice too), and if they considered GT non-canon. GT is a steaming pile of things we shall not be discussing here. I doubt I'll get much argument to the contrary.

3. I think it could very likely be better than the original if they do it well. I think it won't be done well, though. People rarely have the intelligence to make a spin-off or sequel really good; again, look at what happened to GT.

He did. The anime for it is about 20 episodes in, manga's been around for about a year and a half. It's basically centered around Rock Lee, everyone's chibi, and it's more appealing to kids than the regular anime.

No, I wouldn't watch it. It was good while it lasted, but I don't think I would be able to stand more Goku fanboys in my country. Also, most animes that get too lengthy tend to get boring too.

Yes but only if Goku was taken out of the story. There's two ways the story could work. It could either focus on Gohan making a new legacy or jump back into the original timeline with Future Trunks

Yes I would watch a new DBZ and Sailor Moon series. I would prefer an new cast set in the future of the original events if they were to do it though.
