Would you want to hug this creature if you were the same size as it?

I like this creature, but I wouldn't want to hug it; that'd be dangerous and cruel.

It's kinda cute... but if that was as tall as me, the mouth would be large enough to swallow me... so... I'd be rather scared.

That was a Budgett's Frog. A very aggressive aquatic species of frog, the one in the video was being defensive. Whenever it feels threatened, it will puff itself up and scream at the offender. It can bite hard if the offender continues to harrass it. Considering that the common people's idea of a frog is green, timid, and hoppy, the way this frog behave can be seen as rather... disconcerting. But its natural.

Nope, large frogs and toads are quite aggressive already and are unfussy with what they choose as food. One the size of a man would eat small children quite happily
