If god offered you $10,000,000 to take 20 yrs off your life span, would you do it? We don't know when we are to die. You only know it would be 20 years earlier then it should be. You get the money instantly. No tricks etc. If you were meant to die at 80 then you die at 60. But if you were meant to die at 50 then you would die at 30. Do you take the money, take your chances and live your life to the fullest? Or do you live as long as you possibly can, knowing those 20yrs are worth it?

my phone was set to battles. I meant off topic

No, I wouldn't. I'd get money another way, and have a lot more time to live.

Does this factor in the chances of unnatural deaths?

No way, I know how to make 20 million without shaving 20 years of my life.

Of course not.

Edit: What If god kills you as soon as you make the deal. And then he laughs at you. :O

I don't know....based on my lifestyle choices there's a good chance that I'll be dead in 20 years

the last 20? When i'm all old and stuff? Sure.

#11 Posted by Adnan (1037 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm still young so yeah, why not. Assuming I just obtain all the money instantly.

#12 Posted by JonSmith (3999 posts) - - Show Bio

I can't really decide either way, but you KNOW the world is screwed when the only time God comes down to have a chat, he needs to borrow a few years off your life.

Depends on how long I live really. I'm 20 now, If I live to be like 70, then sure, I'd die at 50 for the money..but if it's some type of genie like trick and I only would live to be 40, thus meaning I'd die as soon as I get the money, then nope, wouldn't do it.

#18 Posted by Lance Uppercut (23245 posts) - - Show Bio

Depends on how the next few months go. Probably though. I could do a lot with ten million dollars.

#19 Posted by jeanlucpicard (1845 posts) - - Show Bio

Can 10million dollars buy me immortality?

#20 Posted by AweSam (7375 posts) - - Show Bio

I don't want to live past 50, anyway.

Smartest answer on thread.

The answer is no. Given that the average human lives 75 year or whatever, no.

#34 Posted by GhostRider29 (2673 posts) - - Show Bio

Yes. I'd use the money to do good with it. Try to save as many people as I can.

#35 Posted by The_Thunderer (2894 posts) - - Show Bio

@AweSam: you might not live a year though.

#36 Posted by Samimista (20831 posts) - - Show Bio

Nope. If I work hard and put my mind to it I could earn 10 million easily without selling 20 years off of my life.

Yes, I will. Nothing suggests I won't.

This, getting old looks like it sucks, your body starts to fail, as does your mind, you can't do things on your own anymore, you have to wear diapers,  it's basically like being a baby all over again.

Please, I'd make that amount in far less time, especially in a Capitalist society.

Many people work hard and try everyday and are no where near even a million. Do you see yourself realistically getting to millionaire status? That would be great

yes and no, by this I mean it's entirely possible. But it's both a question of willpower, luck and planning. So right now it's iffy at best. But knowledge of how to achieve is there.

If this post was sarcasm, I apologize but do you have any cognizance of who I am in real life?
