Would you save Ellie?

If i went threw hell for the Past Year Obviously i would save What a waiste of time if i Don't lol :P and YES I would do the same if it were my DAUGHTER And/Or Sister Cause they would b Family. I hope i answered ur Question @RougeShadow -:D

@rogueshadow: Yes, i would absolutely save Ellie. I would not have played for so long, to do nothing. I wouold saver her, expecially if she were my sister, my girlfriend, my wife or my daughter.

Given the amount of time Joel had to think about the situation he was in, he clearly chose Ellie over the human race. I couldn't do that. I would have let her die. Now, if it were a spur of the moment type thing, with less time to think, I would have gone with my heart and saved her.

It's a tough situation. I'm not sure.

@buttersdaman000: These weren't top of the line doctors we are talking about much less even the types of doctors capable of creating a vaccine. Most of the good doctors are likely dead. These are the lucky few that survived. There is no reason to suggest that even if they did kill her that they would be able to create a vaccine. How do they even disseminate the vaccine? The Fireflies do not have the resources to get it to every living human. The only real result of the Fireflies getting the vaccine is that it would make the Fireflies incredibly powerful. They would be able to swell their ranks with the promise of immunity. Given the corruption and relative instability in the ranks of Fireflies, this would spell disaster for them as well when they became divided by ideology. All in all, killing Ellie would not in anyway help mankind. Joel made the best possible decision and I support it 100%.

I don't know who she is, and I'm not going to save her.

If I'm putting myself at constant risk protecting her, then I don't see why I would need to save her. I don't have a daughter and I don't care much for my sister.

Hmmm...if it meant saving everyone I probably shouldn't...but I'm definitely sure that I would.

If saving the human race is a sure thing and meant Ellie had to die I'd kill her myself.
