@MaZeRaII: You're wrong. Flash is a metahuman, the SF is merely where he gets his powers from but Flash is still a metahuman regardless...The SF is always with him though, that's like saying all mutants near leech are human by that logic...

1. In DC Comics' DC Universe, a metahuman is a superhuman. The term is roughly synonymous with both mutant and mutate in the Marvel Universe and posthuman in the Wildstorm and Ultimate Marvel Universes.

I don't know what the difference is other than mutants are some sort of ostracized minority in the Marvel universe.

Definitely Meta-human, less prejudice. People think, "hey, that power looks cool, wish I could do that" (DC), Than "hey, that kid has powers, he's weird, I'm a jealous hater, lets kill him!" ( Marvel)

Being a mutant would provide you with more of a community. And when it comes down to it normal people seem to fear beings with super powers or special abilities about equally when it comes down to it.

Meta Human. Mutants are discriminated against, yet people have NO PROBLEM WITH BEINGS LIKE SPIDERMAN, THOR, SENTRY, etc.

Depends entirely on the powers, unless you're just asking me which title I'd like more.

I believe DC made up the term meta-human within the last 5 or 6 years to match the success of mutants and the X-Men. I guess you can already call me a mutant; I have special powers that have been getting better for about 10 years now (e.g. so far, reality warper and psychic abilities, that started from psychic abilities).

From what I gathered, the main difference between the two is metahumans aren't born with powers while mutants are.
