Would you like being 17 forever?

Between all the bad things everyone can find in the Twiligth books and movies, i have thinking on one in particular lately. I remenber from the only one time i wached the first movie the scene where Edward show Bella his house and there are many hats(the ones from graduation ceremonies, i can't remember the english word), meaning that since he has been 17 for almost one century, and in order to keep the maskerade he and his family move constantly, so he is always a high school senior.

The question is, in his place would you like that?

I know i wouldn't. In many countries being 17 means legally being a child, you can't do many things you can do by simple turning 18, and aparently the guy don't enjoy having teen agers around(excep for his darling). In fact the only advantages you can see leads to many critics on Sthphanie Meyer for glorifing pedophilia.

If your answer is yes explain why, if not, how old would you like to be forever?

If you are 17 'forever' I assume that means physical appearance. Meaning, yes, you would be an adult after your 18th birthday even if you are physically 17. Yes, I would like to be 17 physically forever. Or 18 if the idea of 17 bothers you. I am fine being anything between 17-25. The english word is 'Cap' btw. Where are you from?

I'd use the demon blood method instead.

why 17? you cant even get in a club get a tattoo or anything ... hell no. on the upside no girl is off limits at 17

@midnightmare: That is true... but that is just him I guess. I could imagine if you could live forever, you might spend some time doing that and then maybe move on to something else. He is just doing that because they are trying to fit into society I suppose, and he looks young. I would not do that personally.
