Those family have friends and family too, it goes on and on. It's a chain. If we were to go by your logic then it's possible that one would be murdering hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions.

I would most definitely regret it and feel ashamed of myself for the rest of my life, regardless if they had family or not, an unneeded and unwanted mental and emotional burden, which could quite possibly lead to depression and/or other illnesses later on in life. Let the individual be in peace, I have no need to disturb whoever they may be.

This is kinda like The Purge scenario. The answer is no. I certainly wouldn't kill a stranger, and there's no one I hate enough to actually want dead.
