Would you date someone taller than you?

I think it's kinda hot actually.

I'm 5'11" and my wife is 5'1" (barely).

With that being said, I have to admit taller women were a little intimidating when I was single. I wasn't entirely opposed to the idea but much preferred someone a bit smaller in stature than myself.

Towering over some poor guy and feeling like an Amazon? :p

How much taller though? How tall are you and how much taller could the guy (or girl bc I'm not sure about your orientation and I don't wanna offend you) be w/o before it bothers you?

I'm pretty tall actually, around six feet. So far I actually haven't been with someone taller than me but I think as long as they aren't freakishly tall (6'10"+) I think I'd be fine.

@bruxae: No, sadly I've never been to Sweden. My great grandfather left the country and pretty much cut all ties to it. So pretty much family has become completely American now. Still have family back in Sweden though apparently, but no one alive now knows who they are. :/

I'm 6' 3" myself, and always wanted to date a taller girl. Or even one close to my height. I've usually had close to a foot over the few girls I've ever dated.

as a not very tall guy I would have nothing against dating a taller woman and don't see anything wrong with it, i'm still attracted to taller woman, But I personally find that taller woman aren't really attracted to me.

I have this friend who can't talk to women. The first time one spoke to him they moved in together within a week and stayed together a few years. When she left him he moved back in with his mom. That summer some girl he knew in highschool ran into us at the park. She made small talk and said "you should stop by sometime". We then went back to my place. 15 minutes later he "had to go" and low and behold he went to that girl's place. Well, you can imagine how he fared.

A few months later some psycho at his work Facebook's him like 17 times in a row with no response. We make fun of her. A few days later they're living together. They still live together. He's not allowed to have a password for anything. He's not allowed to be out when she gets home from work. She worked night shift at some point and once he was at my house when she woke up so he had to stop and buy flowers on the way home. If I ask him to go see a movie or something he thinks I'm inviting her too. If I'm over there and she's in another room he makes sure to yell "Hi Chrissy!" like every 3 minutes.

The moral of the story is, it's better to be a goddamn chooser than that kind of beggar haha

I think 5'8 is around the average height for men but would i date a taller woman as along as she wasn't some giant i'd be fine with it as i am around 6' tall weighing 230 pounds lol .
