Let's say crime is terrible where you live. Politicians, judges and police are corrupt and owned by powerful criminal syndicates/families. Poverty is wide spread. Whole city is crumbling. But there's a vigilante who has been decreasing the rate of crime and tackling the crime families all by himself.
You're walking home one night, and you're held at knife point for your possessions. You have nothing on you so the thug declares that he's about to stab you. Out of nowhere, he gets struck in the back of the head, rendered unconscious - by the vigilante. He gets you to safety and then asks you if you want to join him and make a difference. He'll train you fully but he doesn't guarantee your safety.
In a real world setting, would you accept this offer and become a vigilante?
Also, you can be whatever kind of vigilante you want. You have your own morals, your own way of doing things ect. All your decisions are yours and all options are available to you.
