What is the worst superhero movie of all time?
What is the worst superhero movie of all time?
I'm not gonna count ones so bad that they shouldn't even be classified as a superhero film (aka, Steel, Howard the Duck) so having said that, I vote Catwoman as the worst ever.
Batman And Robin STOMPS.

I've seen most of these and Catwoman was my choice too. Honestly I couldnt even bare to watch the whole movie, cause it's so god awful horribly mindnumbingly bad.

At least Batman & Robin had a cheesy factor to it, and I think they kinda knew that, what with the Freeze puns, Bat Credit Cards etc. But Catwoman was trying to be serious...it was like watching a motha lovin' SciFi Original movie.
Batman and Robin is the only right answer.
Hulk (2003) was worse.

Mr. Freeze disagrees.
The Avengers.
As the world's most expensive re-hash of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (it did eventually out earn any or all of the Spider-man versions of MMPR right?) it has only served to encourage the studios to make more of this mindless drivel. And now they are going to start opening up options for B and C titles and characters. Ridiculous.
Oh my God...the Batman and Robin American Express credit card scene was TERRIBLE. It is on par with Catwoman and Elektra.

Nope, catwoman was worse
At least batman and robin was somewhat aware it was campy and dumb
Also, batman and robin had bruce wayne and dick grayson, catwoman had some random chick named patience something not selina kyle
Practically no connections to batman or comic books in general really
Batman and Robin is the only right answer.
Hulk (2003) was worse.

Thats at least funny. When I saw Hulk opening day, my entire family and a couple of other people were put to sleep watching the movie and had to be woken up by the employees.....it was that bad. Its the movie I go to if I ever need to go to sleep because I can't stay awake for long when I watch it.
Batman And Robin STOMPS.
not in a good way though haha
Batman and Robin was bad but at least I can go back and laugh at it, but Steel really killed it for me. I'm sure Catwoman would take the hire vote but I haven't seen it so lol.

Since I've only seen parts of the movie i cant say this for the whole thing, but parts of Catwoman are really horrible. It's worth seeing just to have it for comparison with other bad movies. And, oddly enough, it seems to be on TV every now and then... which is why I've seen parts of it on different occasions.
And another thing, at least Catwoman had the decency to pretend it wasn't the real deal! Not like Batman and Robin?
@manchine: YES! some one else thinks Watchmen suck! i hate hate hate that movie!
@willpayton: dude! WTH! why is Punisher on here! that movie was awesome. much better then the 2004 and War Zone movies!

LOL... come on, the guy rides a motorcycle through the sewers!
Not saying the reboot was good... I mean it did have Travolta, but at least Tom Jane was good, much better than Dolph Lundgren.
@the_last_son_of_czarnia: no, your forgetting Ivan Drago from Rocky IV
it was awesome! he was awesome. Tom Jane was good. but his "Punisher was bullcrap". that whole "im not out for revenge, im here to punish the guilty" thing was bullcrap. i mean he dragged a guy behind a car, that was driving threw explosions. thats called revenge! at least Dolph Lundgren would just punch and shoot his enemys.
Dolph Lundgren's best role was Punisher!
It's Steel, of course it's Steel. Even Batman and Robin (Schwarzenegger, batnipples, and all) or Catwoman are slightly above Steel because at least they had a budget behind their garbage, adding some level of visual delight. Personally Daredevil is one of my favorite superhero movies of all time, and while few people are really passionate about that film, I think both critical reception and box office success prove that it should not be lumped into the same category as all these other failures. And Sure, it's complete crap, but I actually had a lot of fun with Frank Miller's The Spirit.
@king_saturn: @powerherc: steel at least had shaq
@powerherc: steel at least had shaq
Shaq didn't help.
Shaq was a great B-Ball player but it was really to soon for him to be making movies when he did 'Steel.'
