Worst Meeting You Have Ever Been In?

Describe the worst meeting you have ever been a part of. Business meeting,project meeting, etc.

Probably my first STD testing, thank god I was negative....

The one where I and my mother discussed the terms of a custody change.

@rd189: @racob7: Double damn. Yeah first time I got tested for STDs, so horrible any time you have to get tested. Family meetings like that can always be rough.

Yeah, probably when I got myself tested for STD's.....the look on the Doctors face, the test.....man....It was horrible. I was negative though, thank god, it was just an allergic reaction....lmao

The meeting with my lawyer to discuss testifying against my uncle for molestation.

Man, I was freaking out! I called the girl and told her about it and then she started freaking out -- EMBARRASSING. She cussed me out, then hung up, but thankfully she had the grace to not put me on blast, but I think it was more for her sake lol. Then, I go to the Doctor and he runs all the test, blood work, piss, swabs and all. After a week or so, I go back in and he tells me it's negative and refers me to dermatology for a same day appointment. The dude looks, and immediately goes "yeah, that's an allergic reaction" -- THANK THE HEAVENS LAWD JESUS CHRIST HAHAHAHA. I call the girl back and she cusses me out for making her worry and spend money for no reason lol

Physicals always kind of suck, I usually get stuck with an 70 year old nut-hugger.

The meeting of a certain Cv group had after they all got banned.

Too many to count...I have had meetings that have drug on for 5 hours, that could have easily been solved in about 15 minutes. Only to have the another meeting scheduled because the manager couldn't come to a meaningful conclusion.

The most memorable meeting was with a Venture Capital firm. It was one of those times when I knew in my heart that this was a good idea, but couldn't find the right words to sway them. It got very frustrating.

Then the next VC meeting I had was with the Harvard VC & PE Club. They were very supporting and actually gave me a lot of positive feedback to improve my idea.

The meeting with my Manager after she accidentally fired me.

Video production meetings with awful, uncooperative people.

Saturday morning sales meeting, we all got chewed out by the owner even though the store had hit double our sales quota. Fight broke out between a salesman and a sales manager and the GM stood there laughing then fired the salesman although he didn't start it. I quit that afternoon.

@lukehero: Alright - story time.

So I transferred to a different branch in my company when I went to College - that way I could still work on the weekends and have some income.

It turns out the manager that I gave my information to had written my phone number down wrong & then left to go to a different branch leaving someone else in charge.

I got a termination notice in the mail 3 weeks later - so I went to the company and asked why I was getting fired, I hadn't even heard from them since I had given them my information and was awaiting the call telling me I had been put on the schedule.

The claimed they had been trying to call me and that I missed 3 or 4 shifts and that I was getting fired - I then explained the situation to them and they realized that they had done goofed'd.

It was just an awkward meeting and the manager was terrible & didn't want to own up to their mistake.

Trust me, it gets nasty. I am constantly surprised what people are capable of when it comes to money. It's scary.

@lukehero: a school thing. But sometimes i have meetings with my doctor/ dentist (which is terrifying since they have so many razor-sharp knifes and tools)
