World War 3

i opinion on this is the following

NATO,USA,UK,south Korea vs. middle east(lots of places), Russia

ending result: NATO victory

second one

NATO,USA, India vs North Korea,china and perhaps Russia

ending result: NATO over runs north Korea then cease fire is signed

I am not sure i understand the point of this thread. Are you predicting that it is going to happen, and that these are the axis/allies? Because, you forgot to throw in Britain. Not to mention that there is no invading europe/asia again...sucessfully anyways.

You can't predict World War 3, because there won't be a World War 3.

Any confrontation even remotely comparable in scale would go nuclear in moments and result in complete human genocide.

Any war after WW3 will be fought with bows and arrows.

Thank you. Yes! There is so much more that would go into any declared war, now that technology is so advanced.

The US, Canada and South America unite and obliterate the world, then they name the rest of the world "East America"

The only thing I know is that It will come by a weird way, like the last one...

A war between America and SCO (shanghai cooperation Organization) will never happen. If it didn't happen during the Cold War it most certainly won't happen now.

But to address the whole nuclear argument. I doubt any nation (aside from North Korea, terrorists, and maybe Iran) would be full enough to doom humanity by launching nukes.

If this is a purely conventional war then the US could pretty much solo the entire rest of the world. Include NATO (which has France, Germany, and Britian), Japan, South Korea, Israel, Australia, Philippines, Columbia, Argentina, and Kuwait into the mix and there is almost no way that China and Russia (who would almost certainly wouldn't join together to fight the US) would lose easily.

I will say that Russia is becoming more militaristic since the rise of Putin and this is leading to an increase in tension between the former superpower and the US but look at Russia's allies (Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) they all except for Iran are non factors and wouldn't even be a challenge to the US

@Edamame: I doubt India will join. They have always remained Neutral in the Russia US rivalry.

I can see Mongolia joining though. Even if you include China though SCO is nothing compared to NATO

There will be no WW3 because we're living in a NWO. So the only wars we'll be having are civil wars wold wide.

Why on earth would Russia decide to go up against NATO with a few rock throwers at their side?

WWIII should take place within the next ten years. I'm calling it now.

It will be like this folks

USA+EU+(Japan,Australia, Canada, South America...)

VS

China+India+Brazil+middle eastern countries

The outcome of the war will depend on the Russia

no way is world war 3 gonna happen, today both russia and the US have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the entire human race several times over, there will probably be a second cold war

One does not simply decrease the population of this world through this war.

Lets be honest here all it'd really require to eliminate North Korea as a threat is to get the Chinese pissed at them and wait an hour.

@Edamame: Ukraine is closer to joining Nato then they are joining SCO. I know the Ukraine government is pro Nato its just their people aren't.

I really don't understand that because Russia has abused the Ukranian people for so long. I guess they simply want to be with a similar ethnic people.

I agree about India.

Mongolia has always been dominated by those two nations (except during Genghis Khan), They generally ally with the strongest of the two and China seems to be taking that spot.

@Edamame: Belarus is definitely pro Russian and anti US. Isn't Belarus a founding member of the CIS?

Also I wouldn't doubt India. I read that India will surpass China in population and have a larger economy in 50 years.
