Bro and all it's spinoffs, OMG, on the internet or in real like but it especially bugs me in real life, any internet slang used in real life, aight, pretty much all racial slurs, and butt-hurt.

I cuss a lot but I'm very intelligent. I think it's more of a cultural thing. I live in Massachusetts, a state where even devout Catholics cuss like sailors. I agree that it makes people seem a lot less intelligent but it doesn't necessarily mean that's actually the case. Most of my very smart friend's swear quite a bit, although that could also be from the fact that we're all in our early twenties. Still judging everyone who swears a lot as a person of low intelligence is not a great way to view it in my opinion. Some people just cuss a lot but it doesn't mean that as a direct result of their frequency of curse word usage that the are of low intelligence.

Point taken. All the same, MANY people hold that as a telling sign of lack of education, social sense and intellect. If you want to make a good impression on people do you cuss like a drunk sailor? Not if you're smart. And if you don't want to positively represent yourself to other people, then I posit that you're not very intelligent. I'm sure you have the brains to keep the cussing amongst more familiar acquaintences, which I can understand I guess.

Modern counter culture will tell you that it's stupid to make a positive impression on people, either by speech or by dress. They can't judge you. Well, that IS stupid. Humans are communal judgmental animals (as I have shown.) Only stupid people would disregard their social standing for the sake of a refusal to refrain from four letter utterances that poorly communicate the point which would be better served by intelligent selection of words given the context.
