Woman accuse man of rape because he forgot her name

"Christine Jordan falsely accused a man she shared a one-night stand with of raping her because he forgotten her name the next time they met.

The 25-year-old was convicted of perverting the course of justice after she lied to police, claiming Kevin Percival, 26, had attacked her.

She wrongly told officers he had followed her home and forced his way into her flat demanding sex.

In reality the pair had consenting sex after drinking beers and vodka with friends in her flat, Cambridge Crown Court heard.

Nicola Devas, prosecuting, told the court Jordan invented the claim last January because the man could not remember her name when she saw him again in a pub.

She said: "The hope of seeing him is the reason for going down there. He accepted he could not remember her name. Is that why she phoned 999?"

Ill never go to a bar again.

Thats not funny. Its actually scary to think about. As a male you are at risk of having your life ruined just because you forgot somebodies name. Best thing to do if you go to bars to meet women wear a small hidden camera to protect yourself.

Now she might actually get raped for lying about being raped. Hahaha.

The fact that a woman can pretty much just say the word rape and 3/4 of the time the man is treated like a terrible person before the facts are even in. This crap needs to stop not only is it completely disgusting to do this to a person it prevents actual rape victims to be taken seriously in the future.

From both federal and state system the average sentence for standard sex crimes is 6-7 years in prison. From federal and state system the average sentence for rape conviction is 8-9 years in prison.

It makes it worse for both. Precautions need to be taken by both men and women. Women should ensure more safe measures when going out to meet men at bars to ensure they are not taken advantage of by rapists and men should wear a small hidden camera to ensure proof of consent if a false accusation of rape is ever present.

She deserves at least half the time, it'll prevent people like her from making false accusations.

Good hope she sits in there for a while for that crap, dudes life could have been ruined.

Disgusting. She doesn't help the real victims of rape by doing something like that. I hope she goes to jail and doesn't get a slap on the wrist because of her feelings.

I think that this is abhorrent because it goes against my principles. We are all owed certain rights and owe certain right to the people around us, and the courts maintain equilibrium of responsibilities and privileges. Therefore disturbing the courts in their works not only robs a person of their human right to a fair trial, their right to whatever is taken as punishment and everyone's right to justice and a fair world.

Now does all that make her a bad person? Perhaps not. Another belief of mine is the courts must only inflict what they deserve not what is proportionate to the crime. Do I believe she deserves two years in jail? Yes and more, after reading her story.

What else should she receive, hmm, either a stiffer sentence, perhaps half a dozen years, or to be registered on the sex offenders list because she used her sexuality as a weapon.
