You can also pencil your favorite character.

If you choose the 20 million, you can't ever write or pencil your favorite character.

...to hell with comics I'll take the 20 million.

money...I'm a shitty writer

#7 Posted by joshmightbe (25009 posts) - - Show Bio

I'd take the money, I'd love to write comics but my kid needs a college fund.

#8 Posted by TotalBalance (742 posts) - - Show Bio

I am honest enough to say, if I were to write Batman I would probably write some pretty mediocre stories and that just isn't doing a character justice, the 20 mil is a nice bonus as well ;)

With 20 million dollars I can do so much good for my family and I definitely would contribute to charities.

So to hell with comics when it comes to that much money.

how is it selling out? the only reason why i would take the 200 million is to pretty much help out my family

#12 Posted by deaditegonzo (3690 posts) - - Show Bio

200 Mil. With that kind of money, if I really wanted to, I could write for my favourite character.

#13 Posted by JeanRalphio (1842 posts) - - Show Bio

Not in this scenario.

#14 Posted by joshmightbe (25009 posts) - - Show Bio

@jeanralphio: Well, I'm not a great writer so if I was to write comics it would just screw stuff up, while if I got 20 Mill I could put my kid in private school and guarantee her a college education so the choice you're giving me is either be a millionaire or an object of fan rage.

no its not. if you take the money and invest about $5 or $10 million you can start your own comic company and create your own charachters the way you want them to be. so you would have both really. it dosent have to be a charachter from marvel image or dc.

Hell i'll just take the 200 miliion and buy DC comics. That way i could write how many comics I want.

#31 Posted by darkbeam (2496 posts) - - Show Bio

Well new comic companys seem to never make a lot of money so it might be a bad investment.

Am I guaranteed to write forever? even if I suck? In that case id make a ton of money anyway so I wouldnt need to sell out. If I wouldnt earn money and only got to write id take the cash anyday.. Oh and id write Zatanna.

#34 Posted by batmannflash (6226 posts) - - Show Bio

200 million, easily.

I'm not that crazy about writing comics about Batman, anyways. I prefer to just read what other people write

#36 Edited by oceanmaster21 (8690 posts) - - Show Bio

My thoughts exactly lol plus with that much money I can A. create my own comic book company and/or B. Bribe someone or get connections to write my fav character lol with the right moves of course.

#38 Edited by GeekBait (785 posts) - - Show Bio

Money. I don't think I could maintain writing an ongoing series. I'm more of a miniseries type of writer.

20 million dollars so that I can jump-start my own comic book company, and have a couple million left over.

#45 Posted by _Gaff_ (3676 posts) - - Show Bio

20 mill, no contest.

Until I retire?

EASILY write and pencil favorite character.

20 million. That's enough money to last you for the rest of your life if you know what your doing.

#48 Posted by JediXMan (31224 posts) - - Show Bio

20 million.

I'd rather spend the money to write my own content.
