Will SSB4 for the 3ds feature online multiplayer?

Super Smash Bros. 4, will you be able to challenge players online using the 3DS's Wi-Fi capabilities or not? This will be a deciding factor on whether or not I get this game, because if it has to be local wireless, I don't know anyone else with a 3DS so it's not worth my time, hell the game wouldn't even be playable in that case for me due to the game's lack of single player mode.

@gravenche: The game does not lack a single player mode. It just doesn't have a story campaign like in Brawl. Both OG Smash for the N64 and Melee did not have story campaigns either.
