Will Smith compares to Arnold in action?

Does Will Smith compare to Arny as far action flicks go and as a manly man?

What I mean by this I find increasingly people talk about Will Smith like he was a sexual god, and smooth talker, and a manly man for action flicks. My wife being one of them ever since the Fresh Prince of Bel Air days.

Arnold to me always held the title as the action star of the gritty 80s and early 90s time, but Will Smith has made some great flick late 90s and today. Where Arnold is buff and "Kill Kill Kill" attitude, Will has a more crack a joke here, say something slick there type of character in action movies.

So with that said, who do you find overall more entertaining as a action star.

Nope, Will Smith is a better overall actor... but Arnold Schwarzenegger is a better action star... Will Smith has nothing on his resume as hard as what Arnold has with The Terminator.

Arnold is better at everything.

"Better actor." As if that makes him more believable in his roles than 80's era Arnold.

Will Smith is a better Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and that's about it.

Unfortunately, probably not. He's been force feeding us Jayden in all of his films lately, and its been hurting his career. And,it sucks, cause i am a huge Will Smith fan.

He can't, Conan, Terminator, Total Recall, Running Man, Predator, T2, True Lies, even Arnold's worst movies and roles are better than Smith's most and the only good action movie he's done is Men in Black.

True that!! Not to mention Predator, Commando, Conan.....the list goes on.

Will is surely a better actor. Ali/Pursuit/Legend/Independence Day/Bad Boys/Enemy of the State/Shark Tale/Robot/Hitch and the first half of Hancock

But nobody I can think of could have been Terminator/Predator.

Arnold doesn't make great movies but he make movies you can sit through. When he was younger the less he talked the more he grunted the better the movies.

The ironic thing is that they wanted Arnold as the main lead for this movie first :P

Will is already a higher draw then Arnold. Hanks and Freeman rule the world but Will is a legend.

Nah, he will always be remembered as a great actor but I doubt he will ever reach the heights of Ahnold. Will Smith has just made too many bad career moves lately. He needs to stop pushing his boring, cocky, untalented children on us and get back to making Pursuit of Happiness and Men in Black (1) type films.

Well, I will give him that he's the far better actor. But, I can name so many of Arnolds action films of the top of my head, and more action films than I can with Will. Yes you can make the comparison, but he's still far behind.

Arnold, I can't really think of any movies with Arnold that I didn't like. Same with Will....but Arnold pulls off action better when comparing the two.

Arnold is was a body building champ.The biggest names when you say action movie ,Forget his political fame we are talking about a guy who was so popular even people in japan hired him for advertisements.

When it's a good movie, Will Smith rocks! But Arnold can pull off a bad movie better than Will can. This sets them apart a bit in my book.

thats a good view, he does alot of Sci fi stuff.
