The Disney-Lucas deal means they get a couple boxes of Lucas' notebooks and chapter ones. I think they will side with the master and not some EU bit of lore. Most likely is that they will completely ignore EU continuity altogether.

I don't think the EU is canon for the films, if they bring him back it would kind of defeat the whole purpose of Anakin bringing balance to the force.

I wouldn't mind if that happened. But it seems he is dead for good after Dark Empire.
