Will Ben Affleck be a Good Batman?

Not sure. People can surprise you so I will be waiting. For the duration of this wait, I will be praying to the Bat-God.

Why can't we wait until the movie comes out to judge whether or not he's a good batman?

I think it's a good move, honestly. He'll probably be better than Bale, at least. It'll all depend on the script, and Goyer's behind that one, so I have faith.

Personally, I have a bad feeling, but will be happy to be proven wrong. I think with good (and I mean really good) directing, he can do it. I'm just not sure that will happen. I mean, I like Snyder, but he's not proven himself to be a director that brings deep performances out of actors. Not saying he cant do it, just that I havent seen it.

They will certainly have enough pressure on them to hit it out of the ballpark, so you figure they'll work on the script until it's perfect. But, I also woudnt put it past the studio to greenlight a crappy script. At least Affleck is a very good director, so you also figure he will have something to say if the script isnt good.

Cranston as Luthor is encouraging.

Not sure if he can pull it off.

Just for fun though, I'd love to see Affleck do a spoof of himself as Batman with a Boston accent though.

Yeah he could do it. I think most people are against it because it wasn't anywhere near who they expected (like me) but he's a great actor. I mean, we all had doubts about Henry Cavill posing as Superman I'm sure. From The Immortals to Superman, I didn't see it happening at the time and I was in complete awe when he did a fantastic job. Same could happen here and I'm pretty keen to see some interviews and know where his head is at.

very original. anyways I believe he will be decent as Batman but add that he is also teaming up with Superman unlike any other superman or Batman live action film (including christopher reeve or christian bale movies) and you have yourself a legendary movie

I think so far the results of this poll are pretty interesting. You can kind of see a bell curve forming there, which is nice.

I thought we'd see the majority grouping around the middle, or down around the "he will be bad" answer. But, it's looking like CV is relatively optimistic on Affleck as Batman.
