Does writers block have to suck so bad. Any suggestions on gaining motivation or creativity?

@Larkin1388: Find something else to do. The more you think about it, the frustration will mount and the worse it will become. Find something that will take your mind off it. Take a walk, read a book, watch a movie, or whatever else you can think of.

Me, personally, I suggest music with Latin lyrics. Sounds weird, but songs like that evoke emotion but, since you can't understand the words, won't change your choice of words.

May I suggest:

Dies Irae by Mozart (this is my favorite movement of the Requiem, but all of Mozart's Requiem is excellent)
Immediate Music (a lot of their songs have Latin lyrics)

Let me know how that goes.

Write a stream-of-consciousness piece about the frustration that the writer's block is causing you.

I always try to watch something with on tv or dvd that motivates me, even if it's just through how awesome it is

when I was writing my book, I watched a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender- it;'s child-heavy, adventurous narrative really spoke to the emotions I was trying to evoke in the story

and when I'm working on comics, I usually watch a little JLU, because it had such well0 though out stories and action sequences
