Why peoples hate on Spider-man 3?

When i realized that the vine society had better taste after i made my last thread ( http://www.comicvine.com/forums/off-topic-5/list-of-films-worst-than-green-lantern-july-2015-1695311/?page=1), i asked myself why not make a thread about Spider-man 3 and give him some love? Spider-man 3 is my favorite Spider-man film of all time and it should be anoted that the Thors films and Captain America (Except Winter Soldier and Civil War) are no match for this film... So why hate on good stuff when you can enjoy a film with love, buddies? I got to admit that i was dissapointed that ASM did not get a third film that could have top this one... But life being a b1tch, we will never see a Sinister Six Alliance anytime soon! I want to dedicate this thread to everyone who love this film and say how much i understand them... The Comic Society is harsh against us, but why? Because it is not perfect? I think it is safe to say that i am not alone and by this logic, i should feel interest in this film and i will respect you if you respect me... Have a nice day and thanks for reading my thread.

But to be fair SM3 (when I watched it my younger days), was still better than TAS.

It had too much going on and not enough payoff to fully enjoy it. It was like a better ASM2.

@a_z: No I was saying that Spider Man 3 was better than the ASM2. I dont know where to rank the first one. It was ok and at least it didnt have too many villains.

Well, it's just really disappointing, they have 3 main villains and that never works because you're trying to flesh out all 3 of them in like an hour or 2. And Venom, the only villain that should have been the main one for the entire movie, was last minute, also the casting choice for him was bad too. Also EMO peter, and that dance scene.

@darkdetective27: Can't say I gave the first a full chance, had to stop in between the drama-logue somewhere.

It was stupid, that's why! Venom was not Venom, the reason for Harry's change of mind didn't make sense and sandman as uncle ben's murderer was too convenient. And don't get me started with MJ... The fights were cool, though.

After all not a bad movie, just average at best

PS: TASM2 was way better

@gigantonigro: TASM2 was way worse with all of its unnecessary subplots and sequal hooks. I would say it was almost as bad as Batman and Robin. The villains were horrible and Electro doing a dubsteb Itsy Bitsy Spider was rediculous.

Although I enjoyey it more than the amazing spider man 2, it's still bad film due to too many villians, Mj being the most annoying in this film than others and Peter's dance scene.

@darkdetective27: I"ll give you those side plots, but I thought the music was dope, the CGI Spidey scenes were gorgeous and the acting was vastly superior. The chemistry between Garfield and Stone was also a positive aspect. All in all, a bad Spidey movie but I enjoyed it more than Spider-Man 3.

@gigantonigro: I dont know Paul Giamati was bad and that troll goblin looked hideous.

I like Spider-Man 3 -- I wouldn't say it's a great film though.

@m_man: the movie was okay. I mean I know Sam rami was trying his hardest to make the movie good but having multiple villians in the thrid one didn't work. What he could have improve the story is having a comic book writer done it and it would good or descent to the viewers

Emo-Parker and the dance skit killed it for me.

I can't stand to watch it. In the gallery of modern bad Marvel movies, I'd rank it above X-Men Origins Wolverine and Ghost Rider, but below X-men 3 and Fantastic Four.

For the record, I don't think the movie is terrible just that it has some serious problems.

For me it's just a regular movie. Not bad and not good.

I think people hate it because they ran out of ideas.

I loved it. The scene of emo peter walking down the street and the jazz club was great.

@jayc1324: It was silly and him doing pelvic thrusts in the street was supposed to reflect his new big bad and cool new persona and he looked like a loser.

@rouflex: Really Mr. Mime QFT? Spider Man 3 was not the worst but it was far from great or even good. I coming off more rude than I mean but I dont think we should defend a movie that derailed a franchise and doesnt have many redeaming qualities.

@jayc1324: Yes he was truly fearless. I wonder if anyone saw him dancing and recorded it. Maybe that would have been a plot point for the 4th one.

I personally felt Spiderman 3 was mediocre at best and the previous films just make it look worse. I can see that you like it but dont act like we dont have just as much right to hate it as much you have to like it. You guys asked why I didnt like it and I said why. Im sorry I called you Mr. Mime.
