Why is love not perfect?

I mean love supposed to be eternal, right? Is it because we as human beings are so flawful in life that we can't make things work out the way we want it to. From birth, to living, and then you follow each other as a couple to the grave.

Love doesn't have to be perfect..it just has to be worth it. if you don't understand that you'll never find Love.

If love was perfect, there would be nothing to work at in a relationship. Nothing that needed tending. No growth. Who wants a static relationship?

First of all, flawful isn't a word.

Second of all, nothing is eternal, why should love be the exception?

Love can all be explained through chemicals. It's not eternal, magical, or ethereal as people make it out to be. A basic animal drive to reproduce.

Noooo, human beings are flawed for a multitude of reasons- because they're essentially selfish, unreliable and illogical beings, for example.

Because nothing is perfect.

Perfection although often fancied as objective and absolute, is actually subjective and relative. In other words as flawed or flawless as humans. Only as a projection can it be be absolute and objectively so, but many things can be in the land of imagination, heaven, love, nirvana, Josh Henderson, Princess Diana and Thor's beard for example.

I'd say something about how nobody is alone forever (extreme circumstances aside), how there's over six billion people on the planet and it's statistically impossible that there isn't at least one of them that would find you attractive, and all that other stuff, but I don't think that's what's needed right now.

Love isn't something you should wish for. It's terrible, it's powerful, and it's absolutely a pain in the ass. To love someone is to give them power over you; it gives them the ability to make you incredibly happy, or terribly sad, or anything they goddamn want you to feel. And being loved can be pretty bad too, especially when you can't return their affections but otherwise care about them. Love is illogical, impractical, and all around not an experience I'd recommend.

But then again, that's just me being melodramatic. At any rate, in summary, you're much better off just liking someone a lot.

Perfection is overrated

Well almost(if not all) nothing is perfect anyways.
