Why is life boring sometimes?

I know you guys get bored. I get bored, of course. 

Alot of us don't have lives.

Including me.

This is true. Comicvine and Giantbomb is all I do at work.

Life is boring most of the time.

I don't want to turn this into some king of emotional downpour discussion, but what is good in the world? Apart from brilliant writers and actors that help make awesome movies or books, I can't name anything good. Politics? No matter who you vote for it's always between a giant douche and turd sandwich. Get married and have kids? Sure because I want to take care of a woman and 2 or 3 brats for 18 years. Most people like taking those risks though, not me. The comfort of my own room, solitude, internet and a good book or movie, I'm good.

Never cared much for Giant Bomb or AnimeVice.

1. Giant Bomb doesnt have a battles forum.

2. AnimeVice is dead... their are threads on the battle forums that have been dead for weeks and they're still stuck on page 1. We never have that here.

Thats me. I'm in my room, nice and quiet, I got my laptop, and if I get bored from the internet i'll go pop a TERMINATOR movie in my blu ray and watch it.... Not much of a fan on reading books though, but I got the net and my movies like you said.

Exactly, nice and trouble free. Some people drink or party away there problems , I think my way is nice and easy, doesn't backfire or make things worse. But not everybody has the same interests

Yeah....no. I don't think life is boring. At least, my life currently.

For example, awkward moments from yesterday: I went to pee, came out of the bathroom, and right as I was swinging the door and going outside the building.... I noticed a long bit of toilet paper wrapped around my shoe. Right at the moment this girl next to me said, "Woah dude you got toilet paper stuck"

In my mind, I was like, "Wait, this type of thing actually happens in real life? Seriously?" It was pretty embarassing, though thankfully there wasn't many people around at the moment.

Another awkward moment: I'm talking to this girl that used to work at my job on campus. We're making sporadic small talk. However, there was mutual ESP where I'm pretty sure we both knew that we didn't remember each other's name. After one pause of us going about our business getting our food, I go, "Wait, your name is Brittney right?" I was pretty confident I'd settled on the right one. I mean, she looks like a Brittney. "Ah no, actually it's Debra....Lol" "Oh......" That was kinda awkward lol.

And, today I was an hour away from getting my classes/semester canceled at my university. And I got flicked off for the second time in my life, in the most hilarious manner - for wearing a wifebeater. So, it was a pretty eventful day.

Depends on what you find boring -- and I am sure there are many people who would LOVE to be bored instead of running around frantically to get through life.

For me -- life is never boring. Never.

life is what you make it with the resources you have.Whic you can also obtain by many means.Unless you have experienced every part of life,then i can understand...otherwise,go to sleep.too much comicvine.go to the beach,something

Well I like the battle forums, Thats why I came here in the first place I guess cause I love debating sometimes... lol even though I have bad habbits of trolling as people say.

I work 30+ hours, I go out on weekend nights.The rest of my freetime is spread between ComicVine...and ComicVine. Literally, I have three tabs open as we type.

I heard in a discussion once where boredom was brought up. The story goes that a student in a class kept saying I'm bored. Then the teacher asked the student are you bored or are you boring? I think the student was offended after being asked that question, but once I heard that I sort of thought about it. So perhaps it's not life that is boring, but it is us who have allowed ourselves to become boring. So when we are bored perhaps we should look at what we are currently doing in our lives and change it. I think boredom can only exist so long as a person allows it to exist.

Right now and about 90% of the time, I am in a position most would call bored, but I think of it as being at ease

Well Reality outside of well-written fiction, and internet, sucks

Life isn't boring. There are just... pauses. It's like if your life was a TV drama / comedy: the boring moments are the commercials... or filler episodes.

Big difference between being bored and being at ease. Nothing wrong with taking time to yourself.

Currently, all of life seems bland to me. But normally i dont get bored too often, if i dont know what to do, i'll read a book or walk the dog in the woods or forest or something. :)

I can safely say I'm never bored.

I'm studying Business IT, working a parttime job 3 to 4 nights a week. In my free time I play games, watch anime and tv series, read manga and just recently started reading comics as well.

If for some reason none of that manages to keep me busy I have a bunch of friends to do fun stuff with, go out with or just watch a movie with.

If anything, I don't have enough time in a day to do everything I want to do.

If you have a goal in your life.Life wouldn't be boring :)

Because it's like a movie, and you just got to the boring part before all the exciting stuff starts to happen. Either that or you just hit the climax and all that's left is the denouement, or whatever. I'd certainly hope it was the former.
